How safe is it to bot?

Hey,

I recently came back and started to buy a brand new account, but since I also got 100m on it I don't want to take huge risks of getting banned. I know a lot of people are getting banned in dung, but how safe is it atm to do some random botting like cooking, combat,..

 

Dungeoneering is risky, anything else isn't. Most of RS players are botters so Fagex won't ban them.

 

I think combat has a high ban rate as well, at least with Slayer. I have heard many people getting banned going for 99 Slayer with a bot. Some people who were literally just 2 levels from 99 and maxing lol. When I made a suiciding account for fun, combat is what got me perma banned also....so yeah I would maybe stay away from combat botting.

Botting though is safe, as long as you are not an idiot. Don't 24/7 bot, mix in some legit play, don't run around spamming "I USE A BOT", etc. I would say you have a 94% chance of no ban not babysitting and a 99% of no ban babysitting also.

 

Yeah, I'm currently just botting stuff like cows to get all stats 30+, always babysitting my bot and also do some legit dung at random times

 

Dung as you will know has had a high ban rate recently. Just don't be stupid and bot 15 hours a day non stop, be clever about it and you could get away with it for years.

 

Read the stickies, threads like these are not allowed because it's a dense question and impossible to accurately answer. Also if you use the search function you'll see that 100s of threads like this have already been created, so you can read those to get good answers.

 

whenever I bot I'm using the computer just to make sure lol won't change a thing if I let it alone botting but I just feel safer whenever i'm round.

 

Personally i just think it falls down to your play style, if your someone who plays alot, when playing legit has 200 friends and never stops chatting, it will look pretty weird when suddenly for 14 hours a day you start grinding and not chatting. Whereas if even when you play legit you hardly speak on runescape and just keep yourself to yourself, you don't look so obvious when botting, it just looks like your on a nice grinding session.

 

No botting is "safe", there's always a chance of being banned or getting a blackmark.

 

Botting is pretty safe if you bot like 16 hours a day. Taking a small rest after 6 hours or so would be even safer. I am currently botting mining, 2nd day now almost 67 and its all been okay so far.

 

If I had a dolor for every thread that is titled the exact same way: "how safe is to bot? I would be a billionaire

 

i am literally 4 stats short of an entirely botted max cape. (besides 99 def attk str hp and firemaking,those i got myself) so id say so yes
