Big donation

Don't allow big donations through PP in a short time period.
It makes those members look legit while they can easily charge it back.
especially don't accept those big PP donations from TWC members.

if i really wanted to i'd have bought rsgp, and donated that way. but why should i get ripped off selling my rsgp for about $0.2/m, effectively thats buying $100 donator for like $125 ...

I do understand what the OP is getting at. If you're with a TWC caution rank, your main priority should be to regain the trust back. A instant donation is very dangerous as its all superficial.

I agree with the underlying point. There should be a maximum sum one can donate via PayPal in a certain amount of time.

History as shown us that many have attempted to, and have successfully charged back PayPal donations after donating via that method initially, to only scam in the end. I'm not saying that everyone who does is, and will always be attempting to scam, however I definitely see it wise to limit it to a certain amount.

There should definitely be a cap on how much one can donate via PP within a short period of time. Either a limited time-frame cap, or place an Admin in charge of allowing/disallowing high summed donations in within a short duration, based on the members history and accreditations.

 

My donation is not to get rid of the twc... i am working that off, the donation has nothing to do with it. i just want a CUI and Custom Donator Rank. stop judging me by my twc..

To be honest, I find it absolutely ridiculous members, new or old, think that the donation amount makes people trustworthy. Personally, I look at vouches and not how much they've donated, afterall anyone can donate a huge sum of money.

... It's plain stupid of sythe to let new joined members donate via paypal. I think this option should be available until a certain point. Let's say with the post count rank member you can donate 5$ via paypal, When you get to active member this will be Raised to 25$ and so on. ( Just an idea).

Conclusion: Accepting a 100-300 dollar donation from a newcomer via paypal. Is asking for problems IMO...

 

Donating via Paypal is only available at a certain point. You are required to already be a donator, have 100+ posts as well as being a member for over 15 days.

 

This exactly obviously you and Heaatz have had some drama in the past, there's already a system in place which Sythe himself has approved.

I support it, there should be limitation of donating $50 monthly via direct PP in my opinion, 3*$50=$150, which is not enough for UI, but there's 90day chargeback period, so I think it would be the best option. Not enough donated for UI=less scams+PP chargebacks.
In my opinion current system is complete shit, 100 posts can be easily gained in one day, 15 days on sythe, just create account and wait, people getting $5 donator for possibility of scamming hundreds of mills is shit requirement too. PP should be available for donation ranks of $100 and above, paid by payment method that is inpossible to chargeback

 

My point still stands; why purchase rsgp and pay $125 for $100? or however much TBT and the rest scam you for xD

 

friends, the donations is about support sythe.org, not make you look more legit.
believe me, i don't care who have large or little donation rank. i believe we all must donate to support the website which give us opportunity to make money from pixels.
the only thing which must make u legit is the vouches. thats just my way of thinkin.
as low or high donator ranked member i believe you/me always must suggest usage of middleman to make our custumers feel more comfortable.if u are not trader and just donate because if sythe, then ur cause is better than everyone re-seller
