Mine is the latter.

 

Didn't party much this year, I've learnt from the last few years' mistakes lol.

This was the first time in a while i've gone over and hung out with family, fairly enjoyable, might to it again

 

The new beginning and resolutions are bull shit you can start those whenever you want you don't have to wait for a new year. I like it for the atmosphere and the partying with friends I guess.

 

I learnt that when i say i don't want to go there next year i really mean it, but sadly i forget how bad it was and end up going there anyway

 

The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is happy.. it's just an awesome night!

 

Haha! well 1 i love that its a public holiday so you have an excuse to get absolutely smashed. 2. you feel some motivation to push yourself to achieve new things but thats about it. Its kind of like a sunday you know the weeks end and now u have to go through another one.

 

New year is a good hype, buy it don't last long. On the night everyone is happy and positive about changing things in there lives. But people rarely stick to them and things go back to normal.

Got to be the party side, endured one almighty hangover today .. feel very ill. But was worth a good night !

Also I like the sense of a fresh start, and it's nice to know summer is that bit closer !

Definitely a wild night last night.

Don't really do new year's resolutions or anything gay like that, but I have a feeling it's going to be one hell of a year for business, and I plan on really taking off before the Summer.

 

The atmosphere during New Years is the best, just never go to bars on New Years Eve. Too many scrubs.

 

Don't understand, and think I will never do, the people that are proud of telling how drunk they were last night.

Its a moment to celebrate with your family, what's the point of getting drunk? You have the entire year to do that. You guys think it looks cool saying like "I got so drunk last night" " I dont even remember what I did". I am sorry to be the one who tells you this, but it doesnt look cool, it looks retarded.

Regarding my night, I spent it with my beloved family, we went to eat outside with my grandma who is now alone after suffering his husband's death last year so we tried to make it special.

 

You're right in some aspects, however on special occasions like the New Years there's nothing like getting wasted lol

It's just another day in my opinion.
