Ideas to Expand the LoL Market?

Hey guys, I'm looking for ideas to expand the League of Legends marketplace and maybe get our name known out there. If anyone has ideas to contribute please post here and if you play & would be willing to refer some friends to the site it would be great!

The only thing I can think of at the moment is perhaps an RP card giveaway in the future. Just brainstorming.

 

Well, honestly, I've been playing LoL for a few months. Really, there is no marketplace for LoL. - Other then accounts and cards. That's not really enough to drag members into here, because really, unless people are selling accounts stacked with IP & level 30, there will be nothing. And you can't really powerlevel on their either, it'd be such a dead section, even with say.. 100 members here mainly here for the LoL market. If anything could stay, would be card buyers/sellers. If you're looking to bring members into the section/game. A card give away would be nice. Give out like 5 $10 cards or some odd. Could work off that.

If you're referring to making the LoL market known to the outer regions of Sythe.org, then I'd suggest a Sythe team perhaps?

Just a small way to put the name out there that I can think of.

If you don't actually mean that and you simply mean by expanding the current market on Sythe.org, then there's not really many other ways to expand it other then what it currently is.

A RP card giveaway would be a great prize for maybe a LoL tournament.

 

Get a legit, solid, purposeful, and committed sythe team together. MAKE time zones work, MAKE the team compose of capable players, and MAKE it official. I'm up for a pro 5v5, dibs on mid/adc at my discretion though


Intrigue in the game will draw more LoL players. More players will expand the market naturally.

 

Whoever can stream, do it on own3d/twitch, and offer RP give aways once they sign up here and participate.

I'm down for helping, as i play LoL, cant stream however.

 

I know I'm not good at all and don't really know anyone - but I can probably livstrem in a month or two.

 

Live streaming would be an exceptionally large step towards making a sythe LoL team worth the time and effort. It's what a lot of pros do, and for good reason.

 

We would need really good players to get a stream working and as far as I know the only SUPER good player we had was banned for counter scamming. you also have to have good personalities ane be extremely knowledgeable and able to teach others about the game. There are some in the Boosting section but they aren't community oriented.

I like the idea of teams though and I'd be willing to participate in giveaways.

EDIT: Another idea I had was a "Sythe LoL Bot"
I assure you that these exist (plays custom games to a certain level for referral points or power leveling) and are possible to make but require a pretty hefty computer to run a lot. If someone put in a lot of work and actually programmed a good bot to sell...

 

We could do 5v5 customs or something to get more Sythe users involved, to broaden the community interest.

 

I fancy myself decent, I made it into 1400 before I left on vacation. Room for improvement but at least we could build our skills together. Plus, having a team means Skype and planned strategy, maybe some of us work better and play harder under that sort of regime.

 

Doesn't have to be full on serious of the bat. Like to get others involved, we could start by doing custom arams, or 5v5 summoners rift. I know n4n0, sypherz, you (moht) and myself play often. I'm pretty sure others do aswell, just not familiar with their LoL names. Shouldn't be too hard to get some custom matches together. Timezones will be a bitch though.

 

I'm down with aram and custom, but we also need to do legit ranked teams once in a while too for skill building, and more often once we've got a routine and we're committed. Aram is good to gauge our strengths and weaknesses, but we need skill building dearly if we want to go anywhere anytime soon

 

Arams are troll games, doesn't show anything lol. But yea, by 5v5 customs, I mean, 10 people from Sythe, not vs 5 randoms. Ranked games are always good, if we were to get a stream going, then yes, it would have to consist of a good ranked team. However, IMO, we should focus on the easier option for now, which is doing normal and aram games consisting of Sythe players and their friends.

 

Rumble mid or feed.

(I'm definitely up for this as long as having 3 science classes next quarter doesn't kill me.) It would have to be VERY organized though to work.

 

I don't mean to sound like a drill sergeant, but how will our team get used to ranked teams of we don't play it once in a while. I just don't want to waste time with a flippant and/or rank-frightened team
