anyone ever bought gold from a site like gold4fun if so was it ever recovered? how far do they go to secure the account.

Im seriously considering buying an account on it but cba with losing my money cus the dick head recovers it, especially since the acc im looking at is $150.


also anyone every used the site cheaprs2gold?

 

If you're going through gold4fun, the account will most likely be over priced compared to somewhere like here (Sythe). There's nothing anyone can do to totally secure an account, the original owner is always able to recover it. The only reassurance you have is that they normally hold the account for a few months before they re-sell it.

I'd highly recommend just trading with an extremely trusted member from Sythe over a website like gold4fun.

The original owner can always recover. He doesn't really need any more information than first membership details/first password.

Your safest bet is to buy from someone who is really trusted on sythe. There are mods/ex-mods selling their accounts as well, iirc.

 

Yeah think im just gonna buy a Mod/admin/Ex Mod or extremeley trusted member of sythe's account, would be easier and more than likely cheaper than dealing with gold4fun.

Im also looking for spend 100-150 USD

 

It's possible for the account to be recovered and yes, i bought a account there a while back and it was recovered but as soon as i went back to gold4fun which was gold4ss back then. They gave me a new account same value a bit better stats. so it's preety much your own risk at the end of the day.

I recommand that you start your own account and buy RSGP with ur money and train your way up.

 

I have purchased two accounts from sites like this, was a long time ago so I cannot remember what the sites where. One of the accounts was totally fine and is still in my hands today, however another I purchased was muted in game (which they failed to tell me) and then was later recovered. So I no longer buy accounts from such sites.

However I have purchased gold every now and then over the years, and never had any issues with that. The one I have had the best experience with is called 'Rs2 Happy'.

But if it is accounts your after, I'd say buying of trusted people on sythe is the best way to do it. But risks will still apply whichever way you do it !

 

Buying accounts from gold selling sites is but plan stupidity. You don't know who the original owner is so that person could recover there account anytime they want to cause they have all the correct original information.

 

I wouldn't buy from such a site, it's probably going to get recovered.

 

Also, the prices are outrageous.

 

Sythe will be a much better place to purchase if you purchase from a trusted user.

If you buy ac account from sythe it is better to actually buy the account from someone who has something to lose, never buy from like a newcomer always from a moderate such as VIDEO or someone like a Grandmaster because they have been on the site so long it would be a tremendous blow to lose there sythe account over a Runescape account just a heads up.

Even though a trusted member may be your best bet, lucster, who was sythes biggest account seller of the time used to sell sorc garden accounts, recovered loads of these, and cleared all the gold off them. Just keep in mind that any member could turn bad at any time, even if they have good intentions now. I'm not saying they will, and I never will, but they can.
