I gave him 35$ for a UC Grey and Dari Eyrie, as well as a ZDAP.
It was our deal, and he agreed.

Now he's ignoring my mail and my Moneypak card amount is ZERO.


He scammed me!!

He knew I had never done this before and I was really scared about it all.
He even instructed me on how to handle the pets after I got them so I wouldn't be frozen.

My husband is pissed at me for even wanting to buy UCs with real money,
but now he's raging all over the house saying I should have known better.

Please, if anyone can help?

THIS is who he scammed.

Better luck next time. The very unfortunate thing about these sites is the amount of scammers around here. I only do trades with people who have LOTS of vouches =(.

And honestly, if your husband is raging at you for this there's something wrong with him/your relationship

As I stated previously, I'm new to this.
I can't be expected to know what a good deal is right off the bat.
I didn't even know what a middleman was, but someone just informed me via PM however.


Also, yes he's angry because he hates Neopets and has since the beginning of our relationship.
He says it's a waste of my time, when it's really the only online game that I can enjoy.
So when I said I wanted to just go ahead and buy my dream pet(s), he said he'd be pissed if someone stole my money...and there it is.
Plus, I'm not sure what I did to you that you're being rude like this, but I've never even met you or addressed you.

 

Tsuri's comment didn't sound rude. It must just be me, though.

They just offered you a tip about using a middleman if you were scared, and admittedly, I had the same thoughts as Tsuri when they said your relationship might be a bit .. well, weird, for lack of a better word, if he was raging over you, buying Neopets.

Frankly, I can see both sides of the argument, but I'm just saying that was my first thought.

I posted on my thread yesterday that I was hoping to buy 5m for 5-6$ or so, and she laughed at me.
Her comment was removed, however.

I asked her why it was so funny, and sent her a PM asking why she laughed/was rude about it, and haven't gotten any replies except for the post here.
