Setting up a long term investment clan?

Is there much point in trying to create a long term investment clan with a few members here on sythe to mass buy something like santa hats and keep on to them for a few years?

I currently have 23m and might get another 150m when a deal comes in? I could also gain a bit more I hope on here .

 

Sounds like a good idea well I have a santa hat but, I would like to know whats the point in holding onto it. Or is it something like merching.

 

Yeah would sort of be like merching but we would invest billions and billions into this hopefully buying out a lot of santa hats?

I am talk about buying like 500 santa hats as a whole clan minimum?

What is the use of having other people also do it? To actually sway a market you're going to need a lot more than around 200m. You need bills, and other people who also have bills. Otherwise just buying something up and holding it for years is pointless. The only reason to find people to do it would be to have someone to talk to.

Well to mass buy something out your clan would require around 100 - 150b at least. These are items which can actually be bought out, causing the price to go up. Actually about 2 years ago, a single rs player named 'Krimandy1' used to buy out pumpkins, usually 500 causing the price to rocket, then dumping them, he used to make alot of profit each time.
