RS Worth Renewing?

I'm on holiday with my grandparents and have nothing to do for about 3 weeks.

I have a shitty 3.5mbit internet speed here and cbf downloading the MoP patch from cata for WoW, so was wondering if I should renew RS.

I'm about 177 combat as it says and yeah, I dunno if I should renew. Whats PvM like with this new combat update, and whats pking like as well?

 

Well, it depends if you like EoC. I would try it out since you have nothing else to do. But you might love it, or yo might hate it. It is all a opinion.

Ironic because I ran a dicing clan and made a massive fortune out of it lol.

I think I'll renew it tomorrow morning and give it a go. What's there new to do? Also is PvM 'better' or worse with this new update?

 

In my honest opinion PvM is more interesting, however without the special attacks you can't help but feel something is lacking from the gameplay...

It's worth giving it a go if you have nothing to do.

You can try to play EoC.. but if you're lazy like I am and cant be fucked to learn that shit, id just transition between Netflix, and some good ol' porn.

My personal opinion, RS is worth playing, but I'm a runefag. I'd get an opinion from someone who's neutral before you make a decision tbh.

I played since classic drifting in and out, came back just before eoc and I welcome fhe change.

The only way to really tell wether you should renew is to do So and see if you regret it. Take the plunge.

 

Eh you'll get bored pretty quick, but its only $6, not much to lose.

 

Try it out for how cheap it is, but I honestly hate the new update, Runescape was unique before it, now it is following in the footsteps of other successful MMO's which doesn't grant them any respect from me or other players I know which enjoyed how Runescape used to be played. You should try your luck on a good private server.

 

Granted I haven't played RS seriously in a while... I did take some time to dungeoneer which gave me a nice experience in the EoC... other than the beta and I have to say it is horrible.

 

It's a different game.

I personally wouldn't suggest it but if you enjoy the new EOC go right ahead.
