What caused gold's price to rise? And are bots back?

Hey, I haven't played runescape in too long of a time, and have not been on sythe in forever as well. I remember that at the beginning of this summer bots were shut down or something because of an update. Are any of those bots back? And what caused them to be back? Also, I saw a random rs ad pop up and mills are extremely cheap. What contributed to them dropping so rapidly? I remember they were still pretty expensive at the beginning of this summer. Thanks

Bots never been back, because bots never dissapeared, they existed all the time except first 3-4months after first bot nuke

 

had no idea what eoc was but just figured out it was evolutionof combat. why in the world would jagex implement something like that? only certain types of attack... jeezus christ... are pures basically done with now?

 

honestly for runescape's future bots will never vanish since it is a steady revenue for them as long as they have more legit players than botters they will keep the botters going with silly things such alot of failed bot nukes.

 

Gold seems to have stabilised around .3/M. Selling to bulk sellers around .25/Mish. Not sure on about bots.

 

Well bots have never really gone fully down I don`t think anyway that much except for a few days it takes them to recode it and stuff like that but this time the Eoc update didn`t really affect the skilling bots too much obviously more the combat bots.

Also gold is constantly fluctuating as from what I heard a few weeks a go 2 major betting clans dumped in the excess of 80B+ each into the gold selling market.

A lot of people also panicked that a lot of people would leave after Eoc so decided to get some bucks for their time causing a lot of more gold to be on the market.

 

EoC took gold prices down also, massive bugs such as duplication glitchs and also the amount of people who have quit these are 3 man reasons i believe rsgp is valued so small now.

 

I quit playing, they ruined pking (stats really dont mean dick now its all about abilities). I played for a couple weeks sporadically post-eoc but the novelty wore off, they kept making major tweaks to the game and i just got fed up coming to play every couple days and my shit being nerfed. (they halved voids def and lp bonus, fucking RAPED dharoks set and made bossing possible by ANYONE).

Gold went down because the game sucks now and bots werent affected much (unless you consider 24-36 hours a big deal). Its simple supply and demand, and the demand isnt as much as it once was.

GOLD DIDNT "RISE". It was .6-.7 pre eoc and now is .3 .

 

gold was .4-.45 before EoC, it was .6-.7 before SoF and shit

 

As for me, the prices of Gold had dropped because runescape now introduces their own shop where you can spend real money for a better stuff. As an example is the SoF where you can win one of the Jackpot cash worth of 200M.
