Should I get the New Pokemon?

I am hearing a lot about the new Pokemon... is it good? I am an old school player (Yellow, Red, Blue, Silver, Gold, etc) and so I am not sure if I'll like the new Pokemon in the game.


What do people think about the game? Is it still worth getting?

 

I grew up playing pokemon but it has changed alot, i don't really think it's worth it anymore i just sometimes stick with the old school and play that when i get bored the new school is not for me i just can't get into that idk why.

 

I bought it yesterday and it's quite fun. Also if you get it by the 11th, you get genesect from wifi.

 

Defo, Im buying a new ds just to play it.

 

My friends who normally liked only the 1st gen pokemon told me that it's interesting

If this game is good enough to convince those stubborn bastards then yes, go fer it

Damn, I remember buying leaf green and fire red back in the day on my GameBoy SP. It was pretty fun I miss the times man, I just don't like all the new style games to be honest.

 

Nah, I quite liked it. Despite only liking "old school" Pokemon, this one was a big improvement on the other DS versions of Pokemon.

 

If you're an old school guy, you won't like it. Trust me, the graphics are rushed and look pixelated and the sprites are pretty bad.

 

I personally didn't like it that much. Either it's because I grew older or because the plot actually sucked, I couldn't find it in me to even finish Pokemon Black.

 

I've played them all since Red, and I enjoyed playing through Black 2.
