    Tax refund?

Call up the HM revenue and ask them, also you have to either fill out the P45 or P50 anyway any tax owed back to you will come as a whole sum in April.

    Tax refund?

You get the money at the end of the tax year, which is in April.

You'll be put on an emergency tax code if you haven't informed HMRC that you have left your previous position, as far as they see it, you could potentially be employed to two workplaces, meaning your tax rate would be 20% as standard.

Inform HMRC revenue, you'll receive a rebate within 4 weeks of the new tax year, which is from the beginning of April.

Best ring up HMRC and get it sorted that way. Sometimes you will receive a tax rebate at the end of the tax year (April), while other times, you could receive a check for the tax you've paid already like what happened to me when i first started my job.
