    My health thread.

So a little about me, I joined the Army when I Was 17, Averaged around 220lbs at 6'1" for around 6 years. I would go on runs every morning (1 Mile) and longer distance company runs every 3 days (4 Miles). I used to go to the gym (while I was on base) at least 4 times per week, sometimes more. Every morning during the week we had PT as well as a training regimen that everyone in the brigade participated in.

I was never "overweight" (could always see muscle definition) or had problems with my weight at any given time during or prior to my military service. It seems now that I have been out, I have gained huge amounts of weight. I have tried cutting down the calories I eat per day down, I still exercise every morning and go to the gym a few times per week. It just seems that I keep gaining weight and I don't know why, I have been pushing myself harder and harder in the gym to no avail. It's just frustrating now that I am not able to see my abdominals anymore. I'm now 240lbs.

I have thought maybe this is due to stress, or my body dealing with a more relaxed civilian environment. I just wouldn't know how to combat that, as what I have done thus far apparently is not cutting it. Also, before it's posted I spent quite a bit of time on the computer when I was in the army too, I never stopped playing games or anything like that. I might keep this thread updated, with gym stats, pictures and what else once I start making progress again.

So if you guys read all that, any suggestions?
