Need help with building a PC.

    Hello,

So I actually already have a lot of things for it, all I need is a motherboard and a video card.
I was thinking about getting a gtx 680, I just don't know which one to buy.
    Any suggestion on that one?
And on the motherboard, all it needs is to be compatible with my intel core i7 860.
If anyone is good with computers help is greatly appreciated.
You can suggest me any video cards or motherboards.
Looking to spend around 500-800bucks on a videocard and around 300 on a motherboard.
Motherboard needs to have atleast 4USB and also 16GB ram with 1600MHZ. at least!

Thank you very much all.

680 if you have the money, but 670 is only slightly behind and a lot cheaper.

i7 860 is outdated tech, so you won't be finding a mobo for it new(besides shit brands like biostar or w/e)

    Honestly go for this;

Sell your i7 860(should get like $100). That GPU comes with Borderlands 2 and Assassins Creed 3. That's my opinion atleast, I upgraded from an i7 860 to a 3570k and that mobo and it's wonderful.

Comes out to a total of $800.

    EDIT:
Just realised that mobo comes with a free 8 gigs of ram for a short while, so just grab another kit of it(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231416) and run 16gigs if you want it instead of getting what i originally linked. :)

Get what noodles posted but if you want to upgrade the cpu and video card go for an msi 680 lightning (499.99 now) and i7 3770k. The performance ingame won't be too different than the 670/3570k but it helps if you record and render videos :)

IMO, stick with the 3570k unless you render/edit etc that requires hyperthreading. If you're only gaming stay with the i5. If you want to upgrade to a 680 go for it, the performance for the extra cost IMO is not worth it.

If you're upgrading your motherboard, I think it's a waste to not get a new LGA 1155/2011 one, and getting a new CPU.
    For $800:
    CPU: i5 3570k
    MOBO: ASUS P8Z77 / Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H/UD3H
    GPU: GTX 670
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1866/1600MHz not much of a price difference.
Similiar to what Noodles posted.. if you're not intersted in upgrading a CPU, and staying with LGA 1156.. Get these:
    Mobo: Asus P7P55D
GPU: MSI Lightning GTX 680, ask Killswitch about it he got one OC'd to 1385Mhz or so..
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB..

Instead of a GTX 670, I'd spend a bit less and get the GTX 660 TI since the performance between the 2 cards are very very small.
