Westboro Baptist Church to picket Sandy Hook funerals

I made this thread because the other WBC didn't address the fact that they are picketing the Connecticut Shooting.

I doubt they have the balls to do this as I believe someone will murder them. I am almost certain.

People are already emotionally unstable after such atrocity and now you have families who are vulnerable and lost the most important things in their lives. Not hard for me to imagine someone snapping..

Opinions?

 

All I can say is that they should not try this anywhere near me.

 

I hope they go and do it, only for the reason that they get killed themselves.

 

This is really just taking it way too far.

 

Doing that stuff, especially with a giant smile on their faces is just sadistic. They need to show some remorse for the victims families.

I agree with you OP, I wouldn't be surprised if they get attacked.

 

It's for attention, and it works. Rather depressing none the less.

I am a peace lover, but these people and rapists are the only people in the world I would like to see dead by some horrific means that involves the amount of pain they have inflicted multiplied to infinity.

 

They have the right to protest if they want? Why does anyone care? Sure what happened was horrible but hell the world is still spinning and life is still going on. So what if they protest? Why does anyone care what they do? They want the attention so you guys are giving them what they want. I honestly don't care and I'm tired of seeing people getting their panties in a bunch over this nonsense. It's nonsense because they do have the right to protest anything they want for any reason they want...I don't support what they are doing, but I do support their right.

 

Holy shit be empathetic. What if your kid died? The amount of emotional pain would be unbearable. Now add to the fact that a bunch of nutjobs are planning to picket your kids funeral and on top of that, they're claiming god killed them because of America's acceptance of gays. And if after all this shit, you still don't care, it's obviously clear that you've never lost someone close to you.

I'm all for freedom of speech, but not for freedom to hate. You're right about giving them attention though, ignore them and they'll eventually die out. They fuel on attention.

 

We know more about these people than the victims. Stop giving them the attention they don't deserve, I say.

 

My friend told me about godhatesfags.com -- it said that God sent the shooter to Sandy Hook Elementary School. Makes me sick to my stomach. I cried when I read some of the articles when this first happened, and to know this shit is happening.. ffs. Freedom of speech means nothing to me in this situation.

 

There's a petition going on that's trying to make WBC officially a Hate Group/
