Selling Office Key

I read in the rules of the forum that when I sell a product key I need to prove my ownership. Well I bought a key for Microsoft Office 2011 from a website and they accidentally sent me 2 keys. I would like to sell this second key, but how do I prove my ownership? I know that the keys are legit because the first one they sent worked. They emailed me the codes.

You could post a screenshot of the email but you censor out sensitive information and you partly blank out the serial key code. However the Microsoft email of who sent it to you must be visible.

Alternatively you could PM it to a mod and they could try and activate it on a version of Office to see if it works. Thing is I'm not sure who's prepared to do that.

 

But if they activate it, it will be used and I can't sell it anymore?

 

I don't think so, I've used other keys in the past and have managed to activate them more than once even whilst using the same ones.

 

The safest way is to show the email, but blank out a lot of information (90% of the serial code etc). As long as you keep it safe, you're ok. However, I'm pretty sure office serial codes have like 20 uses? The one that my old school had worked fine on my computer.

 

Actually, just take a screenshot of the email and just PM it to a Market/Global Mod. You should be fine leaving the serial key uncensored, I doubt anyone on the staff would steal an Office key knowing they would easily get caught.

 

Okay so after I send the screenshot to a staff do I have to wait for approval or can I make my topic to sell it?

 

I think make it after you've sent it to a mod (preferably an online one), and then link them the thread and ask them to post on it stating it's been approved.

Try another online mod then, like Pockets.

 

I can verify that this key has been purchased. However, it was from a third party site, not Microsoft.
