Better admins

I'm not sure you realise just how busy the admin team is as a whole. They all have full time jobs or are in full time education. Govind especially is super busy with stuff right now.

Yeah, Admin is a big jump from Global bear in mind. Most Globals are generally Globals for 1.5 - 2 years before being considered for admin. It's not like you can just shove any Global up.

Edit: Uh, no. n4n0's in the Army, although it looks like it's up to Govind to decide on the TWC. I'm not sure.

This may come as a shock to you but you have no right to demand that something that you were granted as an amnesty should be treated as if it were a legitimate dispute. It is low-priority and the staff is in no way obligated to give reasons why we aren't responding to something related to a pardon.

Yes, because now you're acting like you were treated poorly by the staff when in fact I and other admins who didn't respond to your request were doing nothing wrong.

Sythe would never tell me to put my coursework after Sythe.org during finals, especially seeing as the work I help him with on other projects takes plenty of time as it is.

I agree though to an extent, ive had problems pming SOME staff/admins and being completely ignored. And then others put up too many walls and exhibit such a shitty attitude that leaves them completely unapproachable. I think this could be fixed by POSSIBLY demoting the less active admins (if you dont have time to be on site you shouldnt be an admin) and the current ones adjusting their attitudes a bit and responding to pm's. This is all applicable to the other staff as well.

 

i've been treated poorly by administrators because lack of response to my Pms. the globals and sectionals are even a lot more helpful then you guys, without them you admins are nothing and you guys would be force to actually do work, rather than be lazy.

How is not responding to my PM doing nothing wrong? I am being kind, i ve patiently waited, what else could you ask for??

yeah who the fuck isnt gonna be mad after waiting 2 months and beinng constantly being ignored for an issue that should only take 3-5 days max to resolve.

To acknowledge that pardons and users granted pardons are not protected by any rights? You were pardoned (which means your ban was warranted and you're asking for forgiveness) on the condition that you would be given a TwC.

You have no right to challenge the conditions of being allowed back on the site, and if you do, you cannot demand that the request be acknowledged.

i was banned for something that was done completlely off the forum, and it was before i even joined the sythe community. the twc shouldn't even be warranted. be consistent with all your rules, and stop making exceptions whenever you feel like it.

edit: see? it took a whole thread to get your attention. this could've been talked about on pm rather then the whole community being invlved as well. but my suggestion still stands, sythe needs active admins.

 

It took a whole thread because guess what? Finals are more important than Sythe.org, and requests for removing conditions for reversing warranted bans do not have any merit with me.

Syed was granted restitution. You were granted a pardon. A pardon means you were wrong and your ban was warranted.

I don't see how a twc fits me when i never scammed someone? and now you guys are talking about removing the rule of off site offenses. i don't see how this twc is warranted at all. i was banned for phishing, not scamming. Same shit as luring.

whether im wrong or right, you admins need to be more active and helpful to community. because i find it damn ridiculous that it took so long for you to deny my twc removal request.

I have the same problem as you, my pms never get answered either... not sure why they see threads faster than pms, as you get popups for pms, so theres no excuse for not knowing its there..

 

I think the admins are doing a good job, but currently it is a busy time right before christmas holiday so you can expect them being busy aswell. It can be frustrating though awaiting a response because you can't know if the person has read it but just didn't feel like replying or if the person hasn't read it yet. Or if the person will ever read it.

But yeah I also send a PM to Govind a few days ago and it can be frustating seeing that he was on Tinychat (http://www.sythe.org/spam-forum/1503856-shoe-head-mafia.html) but isn't responding to PM's after a few days.

I have no idea how many PM's he gets though and it's not that Sythe is his job or that he is forced to reply. But it would be nice

Thankfully, it's not up to you to decide what my job is. I do work behind the scenes that sometimes only the staff, sometimes only the admins, and sometimes only Sythe and Matthew can see... even with finals and coursework in the way. That's pretty clearly outlined here:

When I do open community work, I'm going above and beyond my regular duties.

 

It's no ones job. They're not employed by Sythe.org to deal with issues and situations on here, it is entirely voluntary. A better word to use would be 'role'.

 

if you have nothing to do with shit that has to with the forum, they why did you warrant my PERM twc? it seems as if you don't anything about the forum, and your just the forum maintenance man. thats according to the link you sent me.

You really are retarded aren't you. The admins on this site do a lot, a lot more than you ever will for sythe, and that's just in a month. I'd like to see all admins get demoted tbh, as it's not even possible. GL demoting the Root Admin account, Sythe himself.

Phishings a lot more harmful than luring... Luring they take your items phishing they take your whole account, personal information (emails and passwords), you also deprive the person of their safety to being hacked. Phishing is a lot more compared to luring. This would have probably been better discussed in the dispute forum rather than the feedback because now you will have all us fags discussing your twc.
