    Good computer for running bots?

Okay so I am possibly thinking of getting a new computer but I would have to make it from the money I make off sythe so if you have any ideas on how I can earn some quick cash on here then just message me :).

Also what would be some good specs for me to get to run a decent bot farm?

I need it to be quite eco efficient and cheap but able to run bots aswell as this computer would mainly be used for running a runescape bot farm for a tonne of gold :).

How many bots are you looking to run?

I'd recommend building the computer yourself, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck this way.

Just one that can run a bot farm and pay the money back that the computer cost.

Like maybe 10-20 bots would do it?

    Good computer for running bots?

I'm giving you advice on the actual running aspect,
if you expect to run 10-20 bots think of it of as much responsibility as a part time job. Unless the scripts you are running are flawless, there are high possibilities of something going wrong and a few accounts logging out, some of them disconnect, and then there is often downtime for runescape updates. Furthermore, running a bot army for the purpose of mass gold accumulation is difficult unless you're a chinese gold farmer doing it as a job. I'd recommend making a good account or two and botting something of high value such as frost dragon bones. Also, Runescape's java client expires every 6 hours so you will most likely have to manually re-run each bot every 6 hours (as most 6 hour fixes are flawed, except for Simba's SMARTManager, from what I've seen). But that depends on the type of bot you're using.

Try it out I guess, and if you can put up with it, congrats.
As for computers, it actually doesn't take a crazy amount of resources.
If you actually are looking to run up to 20 bots, gauge them at 500mb a piece, 8GB RAM should really do it, but 16 to be safe. Most i7/quad core processors are a good bet and HD isn't really an issue (usually around 1TB).

Okay how much would that roughly cost? And are they easy to make?

Also would it be possible to make all the money off this site?

Another thing what cpu or is that the processor?

This belongs in technology, even though it's RS related.

    Went ahead and moved.

Have you considered a VPS to run your bots, with the money you make on a VPS you could then use to buy your computer. With a VPS you don't need a great computer and you can get them pretty cheap from certain providers. Some even offer trials so you can test their services out, they also have bot clients installed on them already. I think Grave has a VPS business going, try PM him for a trial go.

Yeah but VPS`s are generally expensive? And also I would have to cover the cost and how would I do that?

    Good computer for running bots?

This is a great post to go off of. I was running like 12-16 bots on my laptop w/ 12 gigs of ram, core i7 processor (forget which, and cba to check sorry lol)

    12-16 gigs of RAM.
A newer generation Core i5 or i7 processor

That alone will do the job.

    Good computer for running bots?

    I don't play runescape/bot anymore, but off the top of my head this should do fine for a decent amount of bots;
    i5 3570/i7 3770
    some cheapo h77 mobo
    any 16gigs ddr3
low end vid card(anything rly without extra power requirements from psu, 7750, 6670, etc.)
decent brand(corsair, seasonic, silverstone etc) 500w~
    any hdd.

    Good computer for running bots?

Thanks for the advice. Would it be better to buy lots of different 16 gb computers or just one big gb computer to run a lot of bots on?

How many bots are you looking to run? If it's 10-20, 1 will be fine, if >20 then you'll need another computer. Also you don't need a gpu if you get a i7 3770 as it has intel graphics which should be good enough for you.

    Good computer for running bots?

Well I am thinking of just running one to start with but then will slowly be building up my empire of computers into goldfarming :).

How much would an average cost be for everything I need? And is it achievable from making here on sythe?

I'm basing this on the cost of parts for my computer which was around $800-$900. At around $900 you might be able to get 24gb of ram and max out your processor. You might be able to make that much on sythe but it will be pretty hard. Plus have you considered the time it actually takes to run a botfarm. I have tried it before and it's actually quite time consuming especially considering if you bot messes up and you have to put it back to the start position. Times that by 20 and it can take a lot of time to maintain the farm.

    More RAM = More bots

Also I suggest getting a high end CPU, and a mid-high range GPU to support it.

Does nothing else really matter then apart from a good cooling system?

Also could you give examples of cpu`s and gpu`s maybe?
