Connecticut Shooting,

There's nothing to live for. Recently just lost my little brother in the connecticut shooting recently this past morning... I heard the multiple ambulances that were running down the street to next to see the life of my sister dead...

 

I'm so sorry to hear that.. and I wish I could somehow heal your pain or offer advice that could make things better. It's unimaginable what you're going through, but even in cases like this - time heals. Right now, I understand that your world has been turned upside down and that nothing seems worth living for, but I promise, given time, it will become a little easier on you.

Please, if you're having bad thoughts or feel like you don't want to live anymore - I insist you see a counsellor as soon as possible. Don't do anything stupid, they wouldn't want to see you sad and your family need you to be strong.

I'll be honest, no one here can even relatively relate to that. Its a tragic thing to go through, I'm sure. But having nothing to live for isn't true, ever. Your family will love you, always. Hell, I'm sure some members here on Sythe love you too! It's not about just going day-to-day, it's about being the best you can be. I know that someone who can trump this challenge cannot help but be a savior in the future.

From what I see this is a troll. You said your brother and sister died. Their are no two people on the death list with the last name...

I'm gonna take your word that this is real just because I can't imagine a monster who could lie about this. Every time I read an article about the shooting, I get tears in my eyes.

As others have said, keep your chin up. I lost my sister to leukemia when she was only 6. I know it's different in context, but it's the same exact thing. Our love one was stolen from us. It's not fair. Why would such a terrible thing happen to such a beautiful child?

Instead of being sad about it in front of everyone, be sad behind closed doors (a therapist is a perfect idea for you, considering). Be strong for your family and the families of the other fallen victims. Keep the children's names in light, support others. Be the guy who seems indestructible. That's what I did. I got a therapist so I could talk about my feelings there & I stood tall for everyone else. Someone NEEDS to be strong in situations like this or life will seem impossible.

I'm really sorry for your loss. I would try and relate, but I honestly can't. This is a tragic loss of life, and I hardly ever post in this section, but you deserve some recognition for your courage. Try and keep your head up.

 

I can't just ignore this thread as it will bug me but I am extremely sorry for your loss. There is in no way anyone can relate to your pain but all I can tell you is time does heal. It may be a long time but it WILL heal. Stay strong dude.
