That's good, but why not use donations to buy an seo package? Most come with additional marketing tools and boosts as well so its certainly worth it. Plus you guys could be using the time it takes to make homemade seo on countless other things as well.

with just "Sythe", nobody. With "Sythe.org" as a tagline and a funnier, punchier line on the shirt, why not? If people will buy Runescape shit, why not Sythe?

 

Sythe is a blackmarket community. I wouldn't have a car sticker advertising it.

However, I do have one for pistonheads, a car forum, which is well known as a group in england, with regular meets. I can't see this working.

 

So the idea is to attract more traffic to Sythe.Org, but Sythe is mainly a RuneScape blackmarket, if people were interested in selling RS-related stuff they would already have come here.

Aside from that, the idea is nice & I might buy one if it isnt too expensive.

 

Steam has alot of traffic too however, it is fill with evaders and scammers and account retraction problems.

You won't be losing money because it's not like your purchasing the shirts before hand. A person would order the item and then you would have it be made. I don't really see anything bad about this.

See that's the kind of logic you can't afford to be using right now. Think in macroeconomics, not microeconomics. What is going to effect the site as a whole? It doesn't matter what your preference is.

 

His preference is the same as everyone I know. No one I know would purchase one of these, let alone wear it around town. At the end of the day, I just think it isn't viable.

If I don't even have money to pay my rent, then I really don't care whether my unwillingness to support the microeconomy for a sythe clothes line will negatively affect the site. In thise economy, it's not feasible.

I read it backwards, I'm thinking microeconomics, you were talking about macro blah blah. I cbf to re-elaborate why it'll surely fail in terms of the "macroeconomy" of sythe, it's just my solid opinion that I'm definitely not the only one who wouldn't spend money on stupid sythe merchandise lol.

 

I don't think you know what macro and micro mean, macro is things which will affect you which you have no control over such as market state, public policies, unemployment, etc. Microis controllable and are methods used to discover household spending and manage demand and supply based on it, in this case with advertising we would want to be pushing towards more demand.

Sythe should be taking into consideration more about how many people are against it than for it, there's no sense in doing something which will not return viable results and with information from the past which has proven to be failures. Rather than try figuring out new ways why not try figuring out the methods people actually joined through. These methods have proven to have brought members and the affect a sythe store will have is miniscule compared to if efforts were put towards promoting methods that have actually brought people to the website such as in game advertising, forum advertising, and ensuring sythe appears under main categories people search through Google.
