Skype Symbol Not Appearing

Keep getting this. Cleared cache etc, still getting it.

Using newest version of chrome.. >_<

Any ideas why?

Wrong icon, it actually comes from http://mystatus.skype.com/smallicon/skypename

It happened when they updated to 6.0, the script that would detect your online status most likely no longer works.

 

Ahh you're right, guess we have to wait until they fix the mystatus website.

Anyone else getting an Ï instead of an email address? I'm also getting the skype issue :/.

 

It's completely skype's fault, I've checked and it is correct the image it's pointing to, it's just that skype's server is failing or w/e.

 

Yeah i notice this several days ago, but i see after some refresh skype and then again not. Dunno what is happening whith skype-

 

If you guys are having the same issue as me (Pages taking over 20 seconds to load fully because of Skype's Icons) you can use adblock!

Getting it on Safari, but TBH I don't mind it, I'm sure it'll get fixed, just ride it out.
