Just applied for a job.

Pretty nervous haha, just applied for a job in a clothing store. Nothing big just a job to get some money to get by and to gain some experience also. So my question to you guys is how long did it take for you to hear a reply back when you applied online. Wish me luck guys, I really need this.

 

3 weeks the first time I got a job

 

I neve had an interview to a job but good luck mate =D

 

When i applied at a local pizza ranch i was called back within 20 minutes for an interview. I guess it all depends if you meet there criteria and hours needed.

 

It depends on how urgently they need you, how organized they are, and how well you fit the criteria of the job. It largely varies. In all of my job interviews (a grand total of 1), I got the job right there and then, so yeah.

 

If you're unsuccessful, they might not even get back to you - believe me I've waited weeks for nothing before. Was it a well known company? If so, it could take a few weeks for them to create a short leet for interviews.

It depends on the company (whether it's a large brand store/small one/etc.)

&I've never applied online, but my sister who does usually gets a reply within 2 weeks or so

 

Don't apply to one place and expect to get the job or even hear back. ESPECIALLY with a clothing store. If you're serious about getting a job you need to make job hunting your job.

 

100% true. I applied to about 10 places and never even got any kind of response back, the only reason I have a job now is because I had a friend who hooked me up.

 

I just got a email back saying I get a reply within 24 - 48 hours so I am going to hold off applying for another load until this reply they seem to be desperate for staff at the moment so I may have luck.
