Hey everyone, a little while ago my brother got banned from Ebay for selling what were thought to be fraud items. He got banned using my PayPal, and now when I try to make an EBAY account, it pretty much automatically gets banned within an hour.

How can I make an account so I don't get banned? Do I need a new PayPal, or IP address? thanks!

I'd say a new, verified Paypal account is your best bet.

Try ringing them up first, maybe you can sort it out over the phone.

Chosenn One I'm the guy your parents warned you about.

You get warnings and black marks if you sell fraudulent items, not banned.
An account will only be banned if they have decided to violate the same offence which I'm assuming your brother did otherwise he wouldn't have been banned.

You're IP/PP/address is most likely blacklisted and are prevented from making further accounts unless you contact eBay and explaining.
Just go to a mates house or a library and make a new account there as well as registering with a different PayPal address, less trouble and hassle.

Sorry Fendle mate, doesn't work like that. He might be able to appeal if that's what you mean but otherwise he can't pin it on his brother even if/though it was his fault. Your household is a whole is responsible for what goes on from your IP, bit like if you had a brother who made a Sythe account and scammed a few mils you'd both go down for it. Regardless of whether it was your personal fault or not.

Hope you get it sorted Wub, think calling your ISP and having your IP changed if it's dynamic (do they still do this if you ask?) is your best bet and then trying to make a new account.

It is very difficult to rejoin eBay once you have been banned.
Despite your best attempts to slide back into eBay unnoticed, you will be spotted and suspended again.

I would suggest contact eBay directly and ask about ways to resolve the outstanding issues on your account and trade openly on eBay once again. Note that it may take eBay several weeks to get back to you with instructions. If you begin to doubt that they are working on your case, contact them again and repeat the request to bring your account into good standing. Eventually you will receive instructions that relate to your issue.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor.

Try and contact eBay, and if that fails, try and get your ip changed by your provider. Other that that, I can't think of any other methods, as they will have blacklisted your PayPal email (potentially your bank account, as PayPal and eBay are likely to share info for legal issues), aswell as your address and your ip.
