Want to learn more about [Vouches]

Alright so lets say I sold something to someone and everything went well, and he/she wanted to vouch for me? Where can he vouch at? I have looked at the "Vouch Forum" but does he/she send a vouch to me through a message and I quote it? I'm not really sure how this works. If any can explain to me so I understand more, that will be well appreciated! Thank you and have a great day!

 

A vouch is something that basically says something like:

THIS IS A FAKE VOUCH FOR AN EXAMPLE.

It's like someone saying that you are trusted. If you create a thread here - http://www.sythe.org/vouches-forum/, the user posts on this thread and there is your vouch. You can quote it then paste it into your opening post on the thread, but that's optional. You can feel free to send me a Private Message here - http://www.sythe.org/private.php?do=newpm&u=318057 if you want to.

 

Typically they vouch you on your vouch thread or service thread, I don't think quoting a vouch in PM counts as it doesn't trace back to anything.

 

Make a thread in this section: http://www.sythe.org/vouches-forum/

Ask the user to post what he/she/it thought about your service/purchase.

You can then link your thread in your signature by writing:
[UR L="-your link here-"]Vouches[/URL]

An example: >My Vouches<

 

Thanks guys for the help! So I can make a "Vouch Thread" right now and whenever someone wants to Vouch just give them a link to my Vouch Thread?
