The RSN : 'GG'

I was sitting at the G.E today when I saw somebody run past me named 'GG'. I went on to add him & get into a discussion about his name. He mentioned that he sniped it last week & has a red partyhat offer on it already!

As a serious name collector I offered him over $1,000 (not specifying the amount) and explained that we would use an OMM through sythe & he said he would think about it & then went on to delete me.

God this infuriated me how he just sniped that name! There's 3 names like that in the whole of RS.

- KO (Dragon Dyce Owner)
- GF (Inactive)
- GG (Won't sell)

What would you pay for a name like this?

 

I would personally never pay more the $15 for any name, just personal preferance with digital names.

 

I value 2 letters such as 'go' 'hi' 'it' etc as being worth more.

Offering $1000 is crazy in the current rs market, that name would be like 500m tops IMO. I would pay like 200-250 personally.

 

may i ask what you mean by sniped?? did he just get luckyand try all the names or does he have a program trying them?? or something else?

 

'It' is available & for sale I think I've saw it somewhere Cheese Toast.
& As regards as sniping something like that, the chance comes every blue moon anyway. I don't suggest you looking into them kind of things..

 

not sure how he does it but i know some people sit at there computers checking names all day to "Snipe" things like that so when people try and xfer the name, it actually becomes available to anyone, so there are a few seconds anyone has to take the name, and he managed to get it

I wouldn't pay a touch over 100m, but that is just me and names don't do anything for me.

The only name I would pay a lot for would probably be "sonic". I just love the name.

 

I've bought several names in the past, and in my opinion KO, GG, and GF aren't some of the best two letter names I've seen. For example, names such as "PK" or "FP" would probably fetch much more in the current name market. A name like GG wouldn't be worth over 400m at its max, a more realistic price would be 250-300m. He must have thought you were kidding when you offered him over $1000, that's probably why he deleted you.

 

The only name worth spending over $1000 on is a 1 letter name rofl

 

actually he might me lying about that red phat offer.he cant snipe names like that....its too difficult
