Finally starting to gain some trust, feels pretty awesome.

Hey, well lately I have started to get pretty active in the Sythe community and also the market quite a bit. The main reason for getting into the market is because I want to try to make a little extra cash on the side but lately when doing trades people have even started going first to me what I think is so awesome. So my main question for you guys is when did you start to think to yourself that you are getting pretty established in the market and do you think it felt good.

 

I think I have yet to become established in the market place, but i just started my own xbox service thread so hopefully I can make a few friends off of that

Yea, pretty good to be able to help people get a foot though the door in terms of donations, also it helps people who are in the UK and want to donate with either cash or BT.

 

I felt I was established in the market when I had about 12 relatively large skilling orders all paid upfront (was running my PC at full capacity).

yea i had a decent foot in the gold market over the summer. remember a guy trusting me with a 1.5k moneypak haha. That was my best momment as a seller

My trust level for you has increased by a bit when you opened up the UK BT Transfer Donation Bond.

Although I feel I have a good level of trust, I don't feel I'm to the point where most people will go first to me.

 

Felt pretty good when someone had no problem going first to me for 900m. Yeah it isn't that much but it's a start . I found once I had a few 100m+ trades where the trader went first, people started becoming more comfortable trading with me.

 

Yea, that 900m trade is pretty awesome. You have a pretty nice range of vouches.

 

I felt like the king when 287m was gone first to me. It's not much, but still a good feeling

 

When people approach you for MMs, even though you don't post on your MM thread. Feels good, man.

I'm not there yet, But I guess when you've got around 50-100 vouches you'll be pretty trusted.

 

Was a long time ago.. I guess it was when I was actively MMing, buying stuff, selling stuff and had around 100+ vouches, where the most vouches at that time was maybe like 500 or something. Felt pretty good, but frustrating as well, as quite a lot of people are just douches or stupid. I guess if you do a lot of trading, it just comes naturally.

 

Somewhere around 2007, when I sold tonnes of RSGP. On Sythe though, probably a few months after I joined.

I don't really do anymore trades, but as soon as I registered, I just demanded trust. I didn't go first or use MM's for any of my trades.

 

The pivotal moment for me is when I donated $50.

People find it easier to go first on me after that donation...

 

I raked in a ton of vouches when the market boomed on the release of Free Trade. Most went first, small trades, others went first in increments.

Few months later of inactivity in the market, people hesitated to go first to me when I was close or around 100 vouches. I didn't like it, that once I go inactive on Sythe my vouches basically didn't count. I then donated $50, and soon enough bumped it to $500. I didn't donate to 500 for trust though, as I haven't traded much after it.

I remember it feeling awesome when FT was out and loads of people were adding and trading me, usually going first. It was nice money too.
