10GP Al-Kharid Gate Days

I went mining in dwarven mines, ran back to falador, melted my ores, back to dwarven mine, made armor on the anvils there and sold them to the shop there, then back to mining . I never really liked al kharid, to much yellow

i always killed goblins to get that damn 10 gp always forgot to take gp with me

 

That was back when Runescape was actually.. Runescape. Miss those days.

I went to the gate for the first time in 8 years yesterday. There is no more gate :noworry:

 

Those were the days. I remember they always dropped in 5gps. Rawr.

 

Shit, I remember when Al-Kharid came out.

Lol, I've played since 2006, It's changed so much..

 

Or killing goblins and picking up their goblin mail so you could sell it to the general store in lumbridge. I remember when a guy came up to me and traded me 1.5k and then declined on the second trade screen, man I thought I was literally 1 click away from being rich hahaha

 

Goblin Mail was 27gp or 35gp?

 

Killing goblins for the 10gp was the way forwards.

 

Used to love these good old days, Have to kill gobins to get 10gp lol.

 

I remember when I used to go train on al kharid warriors on my pure, and I had to either sell some cooked trout back in the general store, or kill goblins for 10 gp. Now I can't even recognize al kharid. So much crap has changed ever since.

 

I remember killing goblins for gp to get through the gate back when the closest bank was varrock. Back when the game was enjoyable even though I was a complete noob.

 

if you was a true oldschool player you would have done the prince ali quest and get in there for free, yo.

 

I don't think I once remember to bring my gp Always had to kill goblins, eventually figured pickpocketing the guy on the bridge was quicker. Never bothered to do the quest.

 

I suddenly feel really sad, realizing the 4 guards that worked at Al-Kharid gates for all those years have been officially fired and discharged of their posts :'(

Oh I'm so dramatic and hopeless.

 

Hahahaha yes, kill the goblins and like 25% of the time it would drop 3gp :'(
