To tell the turth or not

I'm in a rather sticky situation as of late with this girl. I met this girl when I was 16 this past June after a Knife Party show and told her I was 20 (she was 21 at the time). We kind of hit it off going to shows and after parties till the 9 am etc.. I used to usually text her every 2 weeks or so when a new show was around and we'd party together and occasionally hook up. As of this past month or so however its gotten more intense I guess Id say. We went to EDC Orlando together and she told me she was back with her Ex who she had dated for 5 1/2 years and "couldn't be bad" haha. I was cool with it and just hung out and had a good time anyways. A week or so after however I hung out with her and slept with her and she told me she wasn't dating her ex anymore but it was going to end anyways. I'm not sure if it ended because of me but I really do think so which is the case I feel horrible about. She admitted to starting to really like me after EDC and we've been talking allot more since. The thing is really do like her and we have a great time together but she does think I'm 20 at University and not 17 in high school... Should I tell her the truth and risk it all or wait till later or what. Any advice is appreciated.

Tell the truth now, waiting to tell people makes things become a trust issue if you tell the truth right after there is a Little hope, whenever you tell a person the truth after you have made a mistake its common for that person to believe that the mistake made can be forgiven wherfore if you wait it makes it seem as if the mistake is premeditated, its all about the way you approach the situation. As mentioned above, tell the truth now.
If you two get serious then she is bound to found out no doubt about it.
She would probably back off for a slight time seeing as you're underage and she is like what.. 5 years your senior?
If she takes it in a bad way, just be mature about it and keep it cool.
For example, "we can still hang out, but as friends. Maybe in a years time when I'm 18 i'll come for you then" < not exactly that but you get my drift.

Tell her, If she really likes you it wouldn't matter. If you two were to get together. And spend the rest of your lives together you'd be 61 and she would be 65... Close to no difference... ( where I live it's quite normal actually..)

Liars always get caught, you should tell her.. obviously she'll find out sooner or later and be even more mad that you lied. You could still be friends though, right?

Dammit that's what I'm feeling through all of this...we hung out again last night and I can now tell that she's really into me so Ill probably tell her soon rather than let her find out on her own :/

When do you turn 18? If it's soon, then I think you should wait until then. At least you'll be legal, which could make a big difference. If the age of consent is younger where you live, then just tell her now. That's too big of a lie to be able to hide for long.

I'd also tell the truth, if you really liked her you would be honest and avoid any trust issues in the future.

Everyone is saying tell the truth, as am I.
Think about it the longer you pull her into this lie, the harder it will be on the both of you and the more hurt she will be (if infact she does see this as a complete betrayal.)

To me, it's not too bad of a mistake on your part but tell her asap though. If she decides to break it off, then mate it just wasn't meant to be, but if it is then she might forgive and then you can move on and become even closer, if thats what you would want.

Are you seriously asking if you should tell the women your dating your real age or not, come on its a no brainier. If you have to ask a internet forum the answer clearly your not ready for a relationship....

A lot of people ask relationship advice. There's nothing wrong with that.
He probably just didn't expect this to get so serious.

Tell her the truth, better sooner than later and if she finds out on her own she might feel bad that you lied to her, now she might think that you took the guts to tell her, and that you two have something in common, while she might be angry at you at the same time she should understand that you want something to happen.

Gonna agree with everyone and say you opt for the admit it now and take her wrath option. She was "getting back together" with her ex right? Meaning they broke up for some reason that wasn't you before, and maybe the same reason happened again. Its illegal for a 21 year old to be doing that with a 17 year old so it might freak her out a bit. Just do whatever your heart tells you. Also; Knife party is an awesome group, Internet friends is my favourite.

I would tell the truth as well, Depending on where you live and where she lives it is possible that she could get into legal trouble as well. Also, may I add that trust is a huge huge foundation when trying to build a relationship, if you guys were to ever get serious you couldn't keep lieing to her about your age.

The one you love could get into legal trouble depending on where you live, as you are still young.Second, lieing to her now could be the end of your future relationship with her. You are still immature and growing while she may have an apartment and an mature adult.Tell her the truth, it is better to do it now then later. If your not able to marry her for a couple of years because of your age I think she would be suspicious.Believe me on this bud, tell her the truth . If she leaves you for your age, then she is not the one for you and there is plenty of fish in the sea. Do not ever think that if you sleep with a girl a couple of times that you are in love with her.. that does not come till later in life. I have not obtained the knowlege of what it means to really "fall in love" with a significant other and I am almost 21. But don't mind my rambling. Tell her the truth now, or else you will regret it later.
