Pranked Kate Middleton Nurse Found Dead

There was a thread made recently about the prank the Aussie DJs pulled and got info from Kate's nurse. Well today she was found dead.

It seems kind of crazy to kill yourself over something like this, but then again there was an entire world looking at her as the one that gave out information on the future king's wife. So it's rather interesting.

 

From what it sounds like the nurse who committed suicide wasn't even the one that gave out information. She was the one who transferred the call to Kate's room where that nurse gave out personal information.

As for the nurse who gave out information; I assume it isn't her job to validate the caller. It was probably the receptionists job to confirm who was calling before transferring the call to her room. Anyway it is kind of disgusting that someone would prank call a hospital in the first place so no one working there would probably expect an impersonation. If someone is in a hospital getting treated it is disrespectful to prank call them.

 

Wow, such a sad thing that one of the people involved is believed to have committed suicide, I think that might mean the situation wasn't handled lightly :/

 

I heard the Australian radio company is going to be in a lot of shit for this. Now that this has happened it's probably going to be 10x worse now. It's sad when jokes or pranks just go wrong like this.

 

To be honest I think theres much more to it than sees they eye.

 

Wow. If this was a suicide, this woman must have had serious emotional issues- not just upset over a prank call and job security. Sad.

 

It's sad that she had 2 kids and a husband as well. The Australian DJs obviously didn't think of the consequences on the staff, when they made the prank call. Maybe the nurse had underlying issues, and this pushed her over the edge.

 

It's probably not the only thing going on...
I'm always a bit shocked that certain things can make people kill themselves..

For some reason I doubt it was the mistake but how the hospital itself responded.

 

The hospital took no action, as per request of Prince Charles/William and Duchess of Cambridge herself, as it was a silly mistake, which Prince Charles actually made a joke about when asked, and said "how do you know I'm not a radio station". Doubt that was what it caused it, more the humiliation.

 

i see this is da papers i think its just a laugh but guess you cant joke with royalty and i doubt they thought it would turn out like this.
