Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in development at IW according to Captain Price actor

Looks like the Modern Warfare franchise is going to continue for next year or so at least. Personally I'm not sure what they can do with the story after MW3 seeing as there are only 2 main characters left alive in the game. MW3 online was a bit of a disappointment, although I did enjoy the campaign, and the spec ops for it was alright. I still find the DLC ridiculous overpriced, though.

Thoughts? Do you think MW4 will be any change from the previous Call of Duty's?

 

I am currently anticipating the release of black ops 2. I liked the first black ops, although I must say that out of all of the call of duties since call of duty 4 have been steadily declining (in my opinion). In order of my favorite to least favorite since cod4 it would have to go.

Cod4>Black ops>WaW>Mw3>Mw2(too many hacks/glitches for my liking)

With that said, I believe Mw4 or should I say I wouldn't be surprised if, Mw4 turns out to be awful. Still have high hopes for new Cod's but I have lowered my expectations.

 

I find that infinityward doesn't change anything and make the games better in my opinion. I feel treyarch is doing more work by adding creativity and new things for better/sometimes when it is bad worst. But I like how they try to make the game better. Infinityward tries to keep it the same.

 

they will be going back and forth for years to come. Treyarch simply makes better games than IW. MW3 was a joke.

 

I won't be buying any cod game any time soon, each one is a dissapointment.

Tbh what's going to happen in campaign? I liked the first two modern warfares storylines but now what do you think is going to happen, Makarov's dead and the only main characters that are alive are Nikolai and Captain Price.

 

Thanks for the share Laptop. I couldn't agree more the only thing I liked about MW3 was spec ops. Let see how infinity ward takes this one but I think it might be a disappointer. (<-Yeah I made that word!)

 

I wanted to see something new. The Modern Warefare series was enjoyable but I want something new and exciting. Dunno how I could play without Soap anymore either

 

It's always going to have an intersting Campaign.. but as far as PvP.. It's just getting bland. Same guns used through out every match. Kind of Zzz...

 

IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR PLAY STATION 3?

Haven't bought any since Black ops. Fuck that fake FPS game, it's a joke. I definitely prefer Battlefield and each time I watch CoD at MLG or ESET Masters my palm painfully connects with my face.

I haven't enjoyed any Call of Duty games properly since World at War. For me the tipping point was the shitty sniping in MW2 and the general degradation of the community. Back when I played CoD4 the community was mainly 16-25 and sound mature lads, mostly because it wasn't so easy to obtain the game underage.

CoD 4 > WaW > Black Ops > Black Ops 2 > mw2 > mw3

 

Will definitely want to play this game.

 

They really are milking this crap for everything it's worth...

 

And everyone keeps buying it.

Got no idea about what this game is featuring as an antagonist, since Makarov is already dead. I guess it'll be fun just like the others.

I love mw3 and black ops 2 is even better I mostly spawn trap in mw3 tho

 

rofl reported my post as spam when he asked what we thought about it? hop off COD franchises dick little boy, the game is over-played/over-copied, idiots buy it because it only takes the processing power of a monkey to play.

 

I'll still buy it, but I'm expecting it to be way over complicated and abit of a let down. Cod4 & MW2 were by far the best in the series IMO.

But hopefully I'm wrong
