Wanting to start..

I've always wanted to learn how to do gfx properly rather than just playing around with settings on CS4. Are there any good guides?

 

Well, what type of graphics are you wanting to start? If you want to start tagging, tagfreak is a good community to join I hear.

 

Like signatures and logo's etc it's annoying to find a GFX person when I need GFX for programs.

 

For logos go with Illustrator and just start messing around with the shape tools and various other things included in that program. For signatures you might want to check out BakaArts on YT. He does some really good photomanipulations and you can learn some good techniques from him.

 

BakaArts is a great guy to go to for photoshop signatures/photo manips, I've known him for awhile he lurks on >here<, also that site has great tutorials with amazing graphic designers.
