You should get the PSD from Kin rather than just applying adjustment layers to the png.

Hi Jake! I see that you have edited the original to have a more reddish theme, which I really love. I think it may look better without/by reducing the gray glow around the buttons. Great work

 

You just inverted the colors man.
Looks significantly better before; if you want to, look up some basic photoshop adjustment tutorials if you really wanna edit it properly

 

Old one looks much better to me.

 

I like both color schemes but prefer the original only things I dislike\think need to be changed is the blackish fog at the bottom needs to be blended more as it kinda looks like a bad cover up thing as it is and if it is suppose to be shading for the jake part you should make it look like the shadow should be. Also the text in your buttons look pixilated. I'm new at gfx so don't take my words to heart just my thought.

 

Personally, I didn't really like the signature in the first place and inverting the colours has made it worse imo. If you want to start with photoshop I think you should start making something for yourself. The black clouds and grey glow look very much out of place.

I think you're not happy with the artworks you purchased. ( No offense ).
I think the signatures background ( black ) does not match the theme ( light/dark blue..) That's why it doesn't look too good. Try asking kin to make it a bit better, It's the least he can do since you payed full price... Other then that what jiwi says, look up some photo manipulating tutorials on you tube those are great help!
