Well i believe most people have a simple anti v software that auto blocks phishing websites, i dont think that would be very effective considering there are sectional mods who click the same links that we click and if someone does click a link and its a phishing page it can be so easy to just report the thread and the user will be banned.

 

Just hover over the link and you will see the real deal, no big deal :/

 

Are you guys serious. Just hover over it yeah right as if every 12 yo would do that.
This is a suggestion for making sythe a better place for everybody and to keep away phishers. Easy to implement.

@ nerfed you know that your computer can already be infected after clicking such a link do we have to prevent that

 

The site already has a censor on it. For example if I was going to type ********* (share-cash) it comes up as a load of stars. Only Administrators can make changes to the censor at the moment.

It's difficult to try and censor all phishing sites because someone will just create a new type of link or new domain and just use that to phish on here. Another idea is to block newly registered users with low post count from posting URLs on here, although they would most likely spam a load and then post the link. So as you can see there's no way to really forever block all phishing sites.

Now what about giving Sectionals + Globals the power to add words or links to the censor?

 

Wait... not sure if this is what you're suggesting but if one thread is posted another thread with equal content or a similar thread can't be posted? Or let's say three equal threads can't be posted.

True but blocking more links would at least piss them off because they would make a new forward domain for every blocked link.

yep of course, that's why there were made like 15 of the same phishing threads on sythe. leave if you don't know where you are talking about, you don't even have 1 vouch.

Maybe a suggestion: stop noobs from responding on suggestion threads so $25+ donator or 6 months+ experience

 

Im sure there are others out there with more feedback just leaving my opinion man ment no hard, but ill have to say "no support"
