    New gaming computer.

    Hello.
Recently I've posted a topic asking people to help me build a gaming PC. My budget was around $1000, but I just found out that with computer parts, $ and €'s are just about the same. (If I buy an intel core i5 3.4 ghz it's $200 or €190, so really no difference). The reason I said $1000 is because I use euro's and my budget was around €800.

Anyway, doesn't matter. I've managed to choose a few things myself.
All prices are in Euro's, don't get confused.

    Intel Core i5 3.4 GHz Processor - €194
    Cooler Master GX RS-550-ACAA-D3 (RS550-ACAAD3-EU) Voeding - €63
    cooler master cm 690 ii - €64
    Scythe katana 4 - €28
    ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 - €60
    ASUS XONAR DG - €26
    Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR3-1600 Quad-Kit - €75
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST1000DM003, 1TB - €65
    LG GH24NS90 black - €15
    Nvidia GTX650Ti 1GB - €105
    Eminent EM1053 66-in-1 Cardreader USB 2.0 - €10

If the graphics card is not good enough, I could just buy the GTX660 2GB for about €80 more.

    Or:
    AMD FX-8150 - €165
    Antec HCG-520 - €55
    Antec One - €50
    Scythe katana 4 - €28
    Asrock 970 Extreme4 motherboard - €80
    Asus Xonar DG - €25
    Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR3-1600 Quad-Kit - €75
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST1000DM003, 1TB - €65
    Sapphire HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 - €222
    LG GH24NS90 black - €15

What I want to do with this game computer is make walkthroughs, let's plays and podcasts of games like Amnesia, skyrim, assassins creed 3, possibly battlefield 3 videos, minecraft, runescape, a huge variety of games.

Now, would any of you change anything about the computer? If so, what?
    Thanks in advance.

    New gaming computer.

Considering you are Dutch you should use http://tweakers.net/ to find the lowest prices for your hardware. When building a more expensive computer it can usually save you some money :)

I suggest to get 8gb ram to save some money and you won't notice the difference when gaming.

    CPU: i5 3570k €210
    Mobo: Asrock z77 extreme4 €125
    RAM: 8gb Corsair Vengeance €38
    Graphic card: Radeon 7850 2gb €223

Total of 596€ so there is around 200€ left for the case/psu/hdd/cooler to fit in your 800 budget.

PSU: OCZ ZS Series 550w bronze €60
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 68€
    Case: Antec One €50
    Cooler: Scythe Katana 4 €28

Everything together comes at roughly €802 without shipping.

Perhaps you can re-use a DVD drive / Card reader or buy new ones to get the full build for around €850. It's definately worth it to pay a bit more to get a good motherboard and a good graphics card instead of paying less for those IMO.

All in all you should be able to get everything for around 850€ including shipping. Well worth the extra 50€.

I've been told a few things are unnecessary. The new cooler etc can be taken out. He recommended buying a gtx 660 for about €80 more.

    Intel Core i5 3570K Processor - €209
    Cooler Master GX 650W (RS550-ACAAD3-EU) Voeding - €70
    cooler master cm 690 ii - €64
    MSI H77MA-G43 - €68
    Corsair Vxms3 8gb 2x4gb - €31
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST1000DM003, 1TB - €65
    LG GH24NS90 black - €15
    Nvidia GTX660 2GB - €190
    Eminent EM1053 66-in-1 Cardreader USB 2.0 - €10
    Total: €722,-

I wouldn't bother upgrading to a gtx-660, go with a gtx-650 Ti, and chuck in an SSD instead. If you wanted a larger SSD, downgrade the 3570k to a 2500k (not much difference for the $40 price drop) and increase the size of the SSD.

    New gaming computer.

    And what about this setup?

    CPU: i5 3570k €210
    Mobo: Biostar TZ77XE3 €131
    RAM: 8gb Corsair Vengeance €38
    Graphic card: Radeon 7850 2gb €223
    PSU: XFX Pro 550w €55
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 68€
    Case: Antec One €50
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO €25
That way I can also overclock it. It costs about €802.

I'd swap off the Radeon GPU to a GeForce OC'd GTX 650 Ti 2Gb, and use the extra cash on an SSD. Downgrade the i5-3570k to an i5-2500k if it means you can get a decent size Samsung 840 series SSD.
