Is it me or does it seem that a load of Apprentice + Users are getting banned

Just curious as to are they scamming, or spamming or what i just looked over the (where'd the name go thread) and was like holy hell a load of Trusted users are banned ?

 

They broke some sort of weird rule, or they did something stupid. Or they just scammed, either one.

This is no different than any other time, people scam and get banned

 

Seems as i just read trough most of it it seems that they build up trust to make a bigger scam.. sucks.

 

Imagine is SRB, so he is just banned until he decides to come back.

 

Ive been seeing also alot of member using the self request ban is there something going on with like disliking the forumn or something ?

 

It's midterm for highschoolers and end term for college students, so a lot of exams coming up in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

Yes, but I believe some people say don't ban me before X amount of days.

Idk why it takes people years to get to grand master, hero, moderate even admin for all of it to go to shit for a couple of louzy $$ im ashamed at some.

 

Because some people don't know that in the countless hours they spent on sythe in order to scam a bit of money, they could have spent a lot less in an honest job working to earn more.

 

Also, because you faggots trust anybody with a cool name, tits, or anyone you've heard of before from someone else. Then they just play you until they've been around a reasonably long time then scam for something big. Then they convince all their poser friends to vote for their pardon so they get unbanned and repeat the process. It's fucked up really.

 

I've been seeing an increase in new members with 500+ post count and/or $50-$100 donated. Seems a little outrageous.

If a guy from September 2012 had 900 PC & $100 donated but only had 5 vouches, I wouldn't be going first.

 

I probably will do all my gold trading and all thru player auctions because I have no idea who to trust on this site.

Ye I see, I became a forumn addict pretty fast but I dont trade much so I have no vouches but I engage in general talk about the forum and inventing new ideas, but I probably wont donate untill more updates come to the site that I believe is worth my money.

 

Back in the day, being a Guru meant alot.

Not always true - and Synful is a good example of that, but it's important to differentiate between the kind of scammer you bring up in this thread and the kind who only come on Sythe to scam.
Imagine is SRB so he isn't hacked while he is away, Semper posted a pardon and got banned, Stui and Just Un Dude are also more along the lines of special cases. Generally as members get more trusted they get banned over a different set of circumstances, but relative to the overall amount a much smaller ratio gets banned.
