Is EpicBot safe?

Maybe this is a dumb question, and maybe I'm asking it in the wrong place, but I was just wondering.

Is it "Safe" and all? I've never botted before and the way it makes you open the bot in a new little window and stuff makes me thing it's some password stealing deal, or that the new window will somehow alert Jagex, I dunno.

Help out a guy who just wants to get 99 without a ridiculous grind.

 

Requested a move to RS Cheating. However, i've never used epicbot, but I'd just stick with the well known ones until you get some fair opinions on it!

 

Oh, alright. Thanks for the move request. I didn't see a "Runescape cheaters" section, but I'll keep stuff like this in there next time.

Anyways, I assumed EpicBot was well known. Could you give me the names to some that are trusted/legit? I just want 99 defense is that so much to ask ;_;

 

Powerbot and Simba. I am a fan of Simba myself because they have a great community, the the Simba platform itself is opensource, and pascal is fairly easy to learn.

 

Alright, thanks. I'll give Simba a try later, because from reviewing it a bit, EpicBot really looks pretty unsafe. I'm going to uninstall it and then check Simba out.

However, I prefer Powerbot as it's a long used source by me, though sadly it has many restricted scripts only for premium. So if your in it for free scripts then go Simba.

 

Epicbot is safe. The window you open it in is required to run their software.. Not sure if it still works though. Ive not been hacked using it.

 

I personally have distrusted Epicbot for a while now, for no genuine reason. I am a long-standing user of Powerbot tho, and have had no problems with it. Simba as stated has a fantastic community if you are looking for that also, I just like Powerbot.

 

Epicbot is safe and it works. However the scripts aren't the best and it often crashes for me. I suggest you use RSBot: powerbot.org or Simba however i find RSBot more reliable, although most of it is personal preference.

 

Yeah, there arent the best. And you can only bot 6hrs max at a time

 

Checking out Simba right now. A little lost, though. I just want something to autoattack monsters for me, it can work with the new abilities, or just autoattack. I don't mind either way.

Any suggestions/direct links to help me out?

 

Mhm i had trouble with Simba too. You could pay someone to make you a script i suppose?

 

First off wrong section, and this kind of thread isnt even allowed in RS cheating. Epicbot is a business selling scripts, and they make good money at it. Their scripts goes through a repository as well and are checked for malicious content. They are not going to hack accounts for petty amounts of gold when they make their money from selling scripts, that would ruin their legitimate business altogether.
