Nice processor, but you won't be able to get the true potential of it with that motherboard; it doesn't support OC'ing. I think you can find a better, cheaper case somewhere too. Everything else seems OK. It's absolutely not a gaming computer, but that can be changed with the addition of a decent graphics card.

Once booted up and working, it'll shred through applications with ease.

Basically; pushing the component faster than it's factory settings. The processor is overkill for what you're doing though, but I admit it's always nice knowing you got the good stuff.

I wouldn't bother spending that much on a computer without purchasing a GPU. If you're just going to surf the internet and watch movies, buy yourself a $200 laptop/pc and an external hard-drive to hold the .avi files. I wouldn't bomb $650 on this without a GPU just for youtube and movies.

I know what you mean. How much space do you really require? You can get a cheaper (but still decent case), and swap out that HDD for a 128GB SSD, and get a major performance boost.

I dont really need that much cause im probably gonna buy a external hardrive to keep all my useless shit on there, so i could probably go with a 128, but isn't that about the same price? for the SSD and HDD

The HDD is $78, and the SSD is probably going to be around $100~. That's why I said you could get a cheaper (yet again, still decent) case for the price difference.

Get a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter for the SSD, and you should be fine.

Uhh... MOST computers made in the last 10 years can handle Win 7 themes... Your computer could be running a low-end i3 processor with 4GB RAM and not lag whilst running Win 7 themes and watching a video. An SSD is an unnecessary upgrade if you're not using the computer for anything too taxing. It would speed up the boot times of any programs or files on the SSD, but from the sounds of it, most of what you're going to be using the computer for are things such as online videos/watching movies where the time that the computer takes for opening up Word and whatnot are irrelevant.
