game has gone to shit.

Pking and combat atleast.

Maybe not the rest of it so much, but combat system looks terribad.

 

It's your opinion, but many other User think different about this. For me I can't really say, my Pure is ruined but I still Skill on him, so Idk.

 

why is your pure ruined? are all pures ruined? and I kinda dont like how the pvm is set up now...pures cant really do slayer effectively anymore or monster hunt in general. i tried killin dragons with my melee main yesterday....it didnt go well.

 

Pures aren't even ruined. It's worth playing eoc, it's not even bad, and it's way better than the old system.

 

YE tbh the eoc didnt really render the game it just made it up to date with other games in which that why i liked runescape so much because it was in an older format than other games now i dont like it because its up to date just blows tbh.

 

Pking isn't amazing, same with staking. Idm other forms of cb that much since I just use adrenaline. Skilling is faster, so only pking and staking are really ruined.

 

The games have to change to fit in with newer generations, one way the game will survive. I didn't like EOC either I'm getting used to it now

 

I would see why people are complaining about the pking because its supposed to be alittle fighting then ban "your fucking dead" but now its not u have to do all the little things which makes it aggrivating.

I believe the game would have survived the way it is. Every games has to have something that sets it apart from the other and i believe the old runescape is just what it needed to be altho i was glad when they updated from classic but i believe you can still play classic so why not be able to still play eoc or the old version makes sense.

 

Exactly I think they should implement something where we could switch from the old and new combat....boom problem if there was one solved

I believe that they made skilling / getting maxed far too easy. For you to be able to achieve a 99 in less then a week is absolutly crap. It takes away from the actual achievement that you used to get when you got it (Back in 06-08) for me anyway. EoC doesn't really bother me too much, but I personally felt that RS was fine just the way it was, combat-wise. They just keep pissing PK'ers off by trying to make any-type of main a viable pk'er.

 

The reason why he and many others who owned 1 Defense pures feels as though pures (in general) are ruined is because of the fact that ALL dragon hide armor requires 40 Defense. Jagex nerfed armor in general so that defense levels are necessary in order to wear every piece of armor rather than the plate body. I completely concur because studded leather armor doesn't compare to d'hide in any way shape or form. And as far as your comments, I feel that Jagex wants to push players more towards having main accounts instead of hybrids, pures, and tanks (to some degree).

 

The EOC is enjoyable I thought.

 

I like the experience I'm getting in EOC, it has gone up a lot which is nice. At first I was only using momentum but now I use all the abilities and it's quite fun.

It's only really 50+ defence that does ok

 

It's not even EOC which makes the game bad, it does suck but there are far more reasons why the current RS is so shit.

Jagex have made it too easy to level up skills and then gameplay in general has gotten much easier. Exp rates are sky high now. Has definitely devalued the game. There's no prestige to being maxed anymore, it's so common nowadays to see players who are maxed.

 

Eoc is fucking shit and thats the truth. They completely ruined runescape
