Update account sub-section names in accordance with EoC combat levels.

With the EoC realease, all combat levels have been recalculated leaving us with a minimum combat level of 4 and whopping max combat level of 200!

Surely, the account sales sub-sections will be renamed.

Not being familiar with the current combat level system, I have two suggestions:

• Keep the current system, categorizing accounts by either pures/skillers, mains And then sort them in sub-sections categorized by the new combat level system.
• Work out a new system, categorizing accounts by what kind of account they are. eg. Mains, Skillers, Zerkers, Maulers, Stakers, Rangers, Tanks and what not.

Let me know your ideas and what you feel is the most organized.

For those interested, the new combat level calculation is
X + Defence Level + 2 = Combat level - Wherein X your highest level out Attack, Strength, Magic, or Ranged is.

 

Also the stickies need to be redone in those sections.
As for the categorization that is pretty dependent on whether there are any zerkers pures etc left that are worth anything.

I think the best form of calculation should be subsection of 4-100 combat level, 101-160 and 161-200

 

It does need to be done, but the problem is that things like zerkers are going to be very close in terms of combat levels to pures and whatnot, and it may make it hard to determine which accounts are which, based on the combat level sub-section. Some thought needs to be put into the rearrangement. I think we should separate it into account types rather than combat levels.

 

Did you randomly pick a couple of levels or is there a reasoning behind them?

Definitely support, and we need to update this quickly. The faster the better!

I would say 4-100 (Around 40 defence, 60 str -> 60 Old Combat Level), 101-140 (Around 90 Old Combat Level) and 140+

 

Would like to add my support to this suggestion seeing as I created a new thread for the same thing. It is definitely a difficult task. What about have a skillers section separated by Total level. That way you can keep skillers separate from combat focused accounts.

 

I agree that a skiller-only section would be nice considering a lot of people bot skillers and sell them later on.

 

I don't understand why this is even a suggestion and isn't done yet. The current sections don't make any sense because of the update.

 

I could have easily sent a PM to an admin for a quick change. However, as I do not have much experience with the new combat system, I wouldn't know which levels equal the ones we used for the old sections. I hoped to get some help with this from other users.

 

I will change the levels now and will continue to work on this revamping as time goes on
