Just some questions.

Hi, I don't really play Runescape. I have some questions and would love if someone answered them.

1) How has the combat update changed the game? Are 1 defense pures still relevant? Are zerkers still relevant?

2) Why have bones dropped drastically in price? Are bots still around? Are they in the masses?

3) Current gold price - how much is the average? People say 0.25-0.35 but no one offers a definitive amount. Why has is dropped so much?

4) Is Runescape still as popular as it was when RSBot relaunched this year?

1) How has the combat update changed the game? Are 1 defense pures still relevant? Are zerkers still relevant? 1 Def Pures are screwed, because you can't wear any d'hides.

2) Why have bones dropped drastically in price? Are bots still around? Are they in the masses? Bots are still around ofcourse, this update wasn't meant to stop bots, it just improved combat skills.

3) Current gold price - how much is the average? People say 0.25-0.35 but no one offers a definitive amount. Why has is dropped so much? Idk

4) Is Runescape still as popular as it was when RSBot relaunched this year? I heard alot of people quít because of the update, but just read a bit in older threads here.

The combat update has made it so maxed 1 defence pures are now 102 combat, but with that they can be 99att/str/range/Mage/pray/hp and sum. They are highly disadvantaged with life points however, as armour affects your lp.

2) Why have bones dropped drastically in price? Are bots still around? Are they in the masses?

Dragon bones are 2.8k each as of 2 days ago, with frosts being 9-12k, changing through the day (I have bought at 9 and 12 within 24h).

3) Current gold price - how much is the average? People say 0.25-0.35 but no one offers a definitive amount. Why has is dropped so much?

Trusted users sell for approx 0.35-0.4, but otherwise it's about 0.32

4) Is Runescape still as popular as it was when RSBot relaunched this year?

There has been a lot of ragequits, but the eoc will have bought in new players, as well as the announce of 2 new skills early next year

 

Bones are dropping because prayers aren't as powerful. You can easily PK effectively withiut turmoil, so it's not as much in demand.

 

There are several private scripts that are in use at the moment. Mainly because a large portion of mainstream scripts lack updates to combat the new interfaces that were released and of course the action bar.

It seems that this question is targeted to PVP players which I couldn't provide a good answer since I'm a PVM player.

Brones dropped drastically because the supply of bones outweighs the demand. Actually, most items did dropped just after the EoC update. This only means that there's enough supply but low demand due to the loss of players who are quitting the game.

So are bots still around?

Yes they are and they are around as it used to be. If you are thinking about the Botany Bay or Optimus Bot Nuke that they claimed to have been implemented, well it has been but it only catches those players that advertises on selling RSGP gold.

At the date of this post, selling your Gold into another player falls between a price of 0.30 to 0.35/m but if you are going to sell it into Buyer and Seller Shop, the price is only worth 0.20 to 0.25/m.

Why it has dropped so much?

The answer into this question is so simple, the number of players had decreased due to the numerous number of players who had quit from the game which is due to the EoC update. These players had been selling their banks recently which increases the stocks of most RSGP Selling shops.

4) Is Runescape still as popular as it was when RSBot relaunched this year?

In my own opinion, when RSBot has been relaunched, the popularity of Runescape had even increased. As a player of Runescape, playing the game is so tiresome which involve doing the same routine over-and-over again. Thus, I result into using this botting client wherein I gained a few level 99's on my main character's skills. I'm pretty sure that the majority of RS players do use bots to aid them in leveling their skills or accumulating golds.
