Merging xbox with other games

I'd rather not get in to anything related to markets on this thread as it doesn't have anything to do with the discussion areas.

I think we need this more than ever considering the xbox section is just sitting down there by itself with literally no attention anymore.

 

I'm all for this, especially because the Other Games Section has been moved up and this will help it out a bit if it's more visible.

 

Support. Xbox discussion is very inactive, merging it into other consoles seems to make sense and it shouldn't do anything to hurt its activity

 

I always see you bashing the xbox sections and trying to get rid of them, so please elaborate as to why you are so worried about xbox sections 24/7 and why you are so against them? They don't cause any problems for you whatsoever.

Also if you look at this section, http://sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=551 you can see that that has been up for over a year with only 11 pages worth of text and inactivity. Xbox Discussion has been up for a few months and has 18 pages so it's doing better than at least 1 section and possibly more if I had the time to look. So why haven't you made a thread asking to get rid of Assets/Investments or other sections?

Now that "Other Games" has been moved to the top of the page, the xbox section is just sitting down at the bottom collecting dust. That looks messy, and really doesn't make any sense. You're comparing it to other dead subsections, but that's exactly what they are, subsections. They're not active enough to be on there own so they are part of a conglomerate.

 

I'd support this. I don't think the activity with it warrants a separate section to other consoles/games.

 

In x339's defense, I think this would actually help the xbox discussion section by A. moving it further up the page and B. grouping it with the other console discussions

Support, this would also eliminate the whole idea of adding a PS3 category as well.

 

Support, the Xbox community section is inactive and belongs in a parent forum. Its uselessly making my page longer.

 

Yeah I've noticed that the xbox section is barely active (even the general category). I'm all for combining it with Other Games.

I have both Xbox and PS3 but I prefer PS3 for game control and performance during game play and Xbox is better in graphics and sound quality and contains more advanced features than PS3 as it was launched after that but you can get free internet and blue Ray in PS3.
