Is bandos helmet worth the money?

I need a helmet and already have chestplate and tassets and idk if that helm it's worth the 4mill or just buy verac's

 

It depends, both helmets have equal stats to one another. However with verac you have to buy it and then repair it every so often which is now fairly expensive and has to be done fairly regularly! Whereas bandos is a one-off cost so you will never have to get it repaired. Over the long run bandos helm will work out cheaper!

Overall I would personally go with the bandos helm, you don't have to worry about repairing it and checking the amount of damage on it.

 

Depends what you're using it for really, if you're doing slayer use a slayer helm. Verac's is decent for it's prayer bonus, but i've found a nezzy just does me fine.

 

nezzy blows now. Low armor low lp and no str/crit bonus makes it obsolete.

lol if you want to buy bandos helm pm me ill give you a deal on it, i slay or dg 95%+ of my game time and i just dont use it when i do take off slayer helm im usually rocking void anyways. Bandos helm is the best non degrading melee helmet in game,that said i just have no use for it .

 

If you've still got it I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands mate. Was going to buy one earlier but couldn't be bothered paying like double with them rising considerably.

Also I thought it was supposed to boost chances of critical hit or something but I've just checked RSWikia and that appears not to be the case.

 

It's the best non-degradable, and it's good for solo bossing. The warshield is also a pretty valuable item to keep in your bank, since shield abilities are pretty overpowered.

 

Whats better, duel weilding or sword and sheild?

 

Bandos Helm definitely worth the 4m, never been a fan on degrading items other than Chaotics

 

Definitely worth, I should know, I have it.

 

Dual-wielding for straight xp/hr, such as slaying or powerlevelling. A shield can come in handy for bosses and PvP because the abilities are very good, such as instant-heal 40%, a very fast stun recast rate, and temporary invulnerability. These abilities are obviously defensive and don't increase your xp/hr, but they do increase your chances of surviving a fight if used smartly.
