world of warcraft mists of pandaria? Any Good?

Hello, I'm gonna be getting new internet next month which is 40x faster then what i got now so I'll be open to much more online gaming options.

I've never played any kind of WOW games but I'm thinking that i might want to start and seeing the preview of this game makes me think i might want to get this one. But my question is it good? Does WOW still have the $60 a year fee or whatever it was? That's all the questions i have for now. Thanks in advance.

 

Fun game, becomes repetitive, and once a new expansion becomes old content, you really want to hang yourself, because the gear, rep, everything you farmed and slaved for becomes useless. Don't invest too much time.

 

Hmm.. So your saying i should wait till an expansion comes out then? They seem to come out with a new wow game almost every 1-2 years so it's kinda hard to keep up with all that lol.

 

I believe thats what he's saying, dont work hard atm cause it will all go to waste that is why i never really got into WOW and stuck with Runescape or Diablo because of the expansion it drives be fking insane.

Try runescape or Diablo III

 

I personally enjoy WoW and the mop expansion was much better than Cataclysm. Its much easier to gear up and will most likely become even easier in 5.1. Gearing up is the whole meaning of the game, once the gear becomes close to obsolete you use your gear to progress into the next tier of gear.

Also Diablo 3 is a terrible game it has no replay value at all, most people reached level 60 and gave up on the game. Also the next expansion probably won't come out for a couple of years.

 

I agree with what Punjabi said about Diablo 3. Once you run through normal mode there really isn't much more to do besides grind and grind to 60, then grind for weeks to 100 paragon level.

OT: wow is really enjoyable and i wouldn't worry about what they say about expansions making old stuff obsolete. Sure you won't be using your level 85 cata gear at 90 but it doesn't take long to gear up all over and keep enjoying the new pvp and pve content.

 

I like diablo but ye as they said once to lvl 60 Ill probably give up too wow is good and runescape

 

Definitely try wow out there is a reason it has that many subs

 

I played rs since 2003 and it's 100% boring now days with how much it's changed since then. And i don't want to get D3 many people say it's pretty bad and i was told you can't put skill points in what you want like D2 so no thanks.

Is WOW MOP just like every other wow game like world wide? Never played any so not even sure if there world wide. I just don't wanna spend $50 on mop and a expansion pack comes out a week later lol.. Any one know when the Expansion pack comes out for it?

 

I believe runescape is the best out of the 3 no expansions or anything just pure gameplay.

 

Mists of Pandaria will probably be around for 2-3 years before a new expansion is launched. The expansions do update but there is no fee to you as it is just an annual upgrade of the expansion (new gear, raids, pvp seasons, etc.) A new expansion won't come out anytime soon.I'm not sure what you mean by other wow game.

 

Ye Mists of Pandaria is one of the greatest expansions thats came out for wow, great gameplay new armor + great raids.

 

This is pretty much what i was wondering about. If it's 2-3 years before a new expansion then I'll just get the game my next pay check or so.

Being almost a 10 year veteran of Runescape and having 22 99's and being ranked in the top 5 for a few months in 2005, this game totally blows ass the last 2-3 years.

I could care less that my gear became crap when a new expansion was released. I enjoyed raiding (the thrill of killing a new boss with clan), I could care less about the gear tbh.

Plus there is pvp if you are in to that.

The last expansion is still fairly new so if you are worried about gear becoming crap, now would be the time to start playing.

 

^^^ agreed the new raids are fun and killing new bosses is the real deal. I'm not into the PvP much but I'm sure it's cool but to me the new expansion is really really nice loads of new quest and new armor packages so yeah I guess it's 1 of the best thing ever made

 

Looks like ima be buying it then ^_^ it's on walmart site for $19.99 so gonna order it.
