I am moving up to working 64 - 80 hrs a week consistently so my activity may dip up and down like a rollercoaster.

 

You'll still do your part, and honestly thats all that matters, sure some people would like to see you more community involved, but you do your part. You put the hammer down where needed, and as for pardons. Your right, some people believe the sob story, but in the end you got to have limitations. Is the story real? Or are they just trying to get back in the community to take advantage of it.

In the end, and the only part you really need to read. What you bring to the table is beast.

 

Sometimes you can be a dick, and not pick the right decisions in my eyes but in yours it is the right one so I give you credit for even making a decision and not leave it to the staff members. You on most of the time you can give great help.

Good job banning scammers. Try being more involved in the community, instead of kind of independent. I see you as a good moderator, who does his job, but doesn't care about the community. That might not be your specialty, but i'd be good to see you contributing in other ways besides banning scammers and keeping them out. Good work either way.

 

Thanks man, I FINALLY participated in a tournament here lately. I got a new GF and 2 jobs so I am still trying to gauge what my actual activity level can be and will be as we go forward.

 

What are your 2 jobs anyways. I remember you left the hotel how did that go since.

 

I work 40 hrs a week @ Sams club as a nighttime receiving dock associate - in other words I use a forklift to unload semi trucks. I also work as a painter in columbus ohio

 

Columbus. My GF is from Wapakoneta. Apparently not to far from Dayton. Sythe meet up when I go there for Bob Evans and see the family.

You tend to use one specific argument when you lock suggestion threads - argumentum ad antiquitatem - which is a logical fallacy and completely ignores the content of the threads discussed: Just because something has been denied in the past doesn't mean it warrants absolutely no consideration.

 

There are certain things which will never warrant consideration, such as gfx vouches for example.

 

I'm glad you are doing your job, sometimes blunt but with people that deserve no less shouldn't be given more than they deserve.

 

Thank you for what you are doing. This Finn pardon is blowing up a huge controversy storm and i'm glad to see you quickly locking hate-spiel threads posted as spam created just for attention because they think they'll get away with it because it's "Finn". If i had one criticism it would be that everybody; including Sigex; has the right to a pardon by sythe.org's high pardon structure & rules and you shouldn't act as if his pardon is already a pre-determined decline. Too blunt man.

 

Agree with Sellerman, I don't get why some posts are so negative or because they are bat crap crazy. Also, guys; don't take crap personally, seriously stop bitching on peoples feedback.

Honestly, I have not been here long but I think people misjudge you, I have had conversations with you and your not a "jerk" as some people proclaim. I would also like to add I have seen a spike in your posting around. Don't really have anything negative to say. Your doing a good job just keep it up!

 

Thanks. My activity has spiked due to not working quite as much and getting a few more off days here and there. Also trying to adjust to being a tad bit "nicer" as well.

 

I really can't say you're a "dick" like some people here because I don't know you, but I can't say that I find you to be likable, from what I have seen of you on this forum. I honestly feel like you do care about this forum, which is good, however I don't really think power suits you well to be fully honest. If you actually want advice I'd say to try and be more understanding and less harsh, you're here to enforce rules and improve the site not to smite rulebreakers and be a big bad banhammer. You surely let the members know the rules will be enforced but why does that matter if you constantly come off as rude and unlikable, does that help the site? I don't think you're a bad admin really but I do feel you are currently, in my opinion, egotistical and unlikable. Thanks

 

I have to agree with Elena, I've seen you posting around, never had a proper conversation with you but I've seen no problems with you.
People are just stupid, I would expect the staff to be strict and have a 0 tolerance to bullshit like yourself and N4N0.
