When a cop says "you're free to go" GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE YOU MORON! The guy was doing his job you were being arrogant. I'm sorry but people like you give cops bad names. The cop was quite clam about the whole thing. when you refused to put the camera down he could have just taken you to the ground and whooped you're ass.

The fact you filmed this really makes it seem like you set out with the intent to do this, and now that you've published it there's no evidence you can use to further your case that can't be nulled by it.

Get a lawyer for what? There is no case because he's guilty, so spending $1k+ on a lawyer is pointless. He even taped the whole thing to try and prove his innocence, which has got to be the most moronic thing I've ever seen since it just did the opposite.

And 2 and a half hours in jail?! Boo fucking hoo. It's never taken me less than 8 hours to get processed and I also live in Georgia. Last time I was in jail, it took me 18 hours to finally get processed.

He didn't arrest him for asking questions, but for refusing to do what he asked. He wrote him a citation for playing his music too loud and there is nothing he could've done about it. Being a smartass and pointing the camera at him definitely didn't help. Cops can do pretty much whatever they want. Even if they do something illegal, you aren't going to be able to prove it until you go to court and without spending a shitload of money on a lawyer. Don't go out of your way to piss off a cop whether you think he's right or not. The only person you're hurting is yourself.

As someone who absolutely hates the police and has been arrested multiple times on bullshit charges, I can still admit that this cop wasn't out of line and you got exactly what you deserved. I've fought several cases and have gotten many of them dropped, but it's also cost me over 10 grand for lawyers. I can tell you now that you have no case and a lawyer isn't going to be able to do anything for you. The only thing he can do is reduce your punishment, but it's not like you're looking at jail time or probation anyways, so just leave it be and move on.
