perhaps allow vouche transfering?

i reckon vouche transfering from one account to another would be useful to those trusted people who are going through problems

yeah it wouldnt be a good idea. there would be to much faking vouches and so on.

 

Support on the condition that they have to be PM'd and reviewed by a moderator. Doesn't happen very often, wouldn't lead to very many inconveniences. Some people really hate there names, it kind of sucks to have to punish this way.

Another alternative I could see would be allowing a moderator to put "formerly known as "John" on there vouches thread, and then let them quote it and put it at the top of there vouch thread, with a link to the secondary accounts vouches.

 

It's not gonna happen. It'd be too much work and would complicate things for everyone when looking at vouches and stuff.

 

You get confused at looking at two pages of vouches? Again, it's a very small majority, and wouldn't cause any inconvenience at all. Maybe two to three minutes of work at most with the methods I stated above.

what you just said right there is spam. Please elaborate on why you cam to that decision, because that online carries no weight whatsoever. You're lucky I don't report you for spam, but I don't like to contribute to the mass amount of infractions given out everyday that are unwarranted.

No support. You'd have to consider the logistics of this. People switch accounts all of the time for one reason or another. You'd have to edit and actively maintain a running list of these people and then purge it when they get banned. Then it is going to lead to a lot of people claiming to have vouches transferred from another account when they are just fake vouches, and all in all it is just way too much trouble.

 

True. I didn't know there was a larger majority of players switching names. If the moderator had to post on the persons vouch thread in order for everything to validate though, I could see this working (mentioned above). There could be a sticky in the vouches sections stating everything about it. It might help if there was requirements, like you need to be a member for at least 2 years and have 500+ posts. Just an idea, although I wouldn't mind a rule where you could pay $25-$50 to have a name change
