Guild Wars 2 Questions

Alright I just downloaded Guild Wars 2 and it says I have to select a server and this will be my permanent server.

Will I be able to talk to my friends in between server? For example if one of my friends uses one server but I use a different one.
And how much money does it cost to switch to another one?

 

Dunno about the friends part since I...have...none...but I recently did a server switch and it was free.

Dunno if it costs money now, but you should take a look online at guilds etc to see if they are around your timezone and do the things you like before you decide on a server.

 

You can talk from server to server and you may transfer once every 7 days for free.

 

You can also mail between servers.

 

Yes you can, just pick a server that suits you best to get the most fun out of the game. Or even try pick a server your friends play so you can play with them.
