Skillers - what will change after EoC?

Hello,
As many of you know a skiller looks something like this when FULLY maxed.




But what will happen after the EoC? Due to Hitpoints, Prayer and Summoning will no longer affect Combat levels.

So my question will skillers stay with no cb xp what so ever or will they become skillers but with hp prayer and summoning levels?

Opinions?

 

Theoretically yes, as the general definition of a skiller is a level 3 account. However, I personally would hold off on leveling any of those skills mentioned because it's not set in stone. Mod Chris L. said, "The combat formula is no way set in stone and I've already bought it up that we will need to revise it. There are already a number of things floating around (like the inclusion of other skills) more on this to come but we know it's been raised a lot and intend to address it." With that I would stress caution as the combat formula can change at any given time during post EoC.

 

I don't understand your question, because there is no effect on skillers right? Only the combat system will change and because Skillers are lvl 1 in combat skills therefore there will be no change, I think.

 

Well the lowest level will now be level 4 which is gonna change everything!

 

Summoning now effects combat so you can scratch that off. As rue said though, I'd hold off on training HP and Prayer until things are more set in stone.

EOC is a good thing for skillers as the added action bar will make some of the skills a lot easier. If people hate the EOC so much anyways, just make a skiller. Simple.

 

Thanks for the replies guys I'll hold off for a bit, but my main question is that do you think skillers will start leveling these skills if they do not affect cb?

 

I'm going to have to say yes, especially ones that are nearly maxed/maxed skiller total already because they need to keep up with those that are. I see this especially helpful for training skills like agility or thieving... less trips to the bank with higher hp.
