Practicality of the Suicide Thread

I support the thread title being changed to something that won't make someone who is terribly suicidal to get pissed and do it, just out of sheer amazement that many people take it so lightly. That would be my thought process, had I still been suicidal at the point of first reading that thread.

 

Why don't we just change the thread to what someone else suggested like "great things about life" or something along those lines, and put in a new sticky with something well written that might actually prevent someone from killing themselves?

I can tell you that I have been in that place, and the kind of people that are going to look for advice in the SFA section don't always have people to talk them out of it :/ Lets do something good for these people and put in something that is actually going to be useful.
