The music you don't like, and why

the eagle kinda sucks now man, they have been playing the same shit forever. DFW stations wear me out honestly, save a few random shows on 89.3 and occasionally 95.3 if im in the mood for REAL country. 89.3 has some good local, punk and metal shows occasionally on the weekends.

OT i hate any techno/electronica . My older sister was into that shit the first time it got really popular in the states (in then 90s) and ive hated it ever since especially this bullshit "dub step" crap.

I dislike death metal and I've become a bit allergic to Jazz since I listen to it for 9 hours straight every night at work.

 

Ehhh, I usually just listen to CDs so if it's on the radio it sort of mixes in for me, ya know? Plus I grew up listening to it before that mexican crap took over for a long time, lol, so it's nice to hear some familiar tunes unlike how on the edge I hardly hear anything good anymore... Pretty much like they completely changed their style. I miss when I could put it on the edge and even though I'd have to grit through the nickelback, they used to literally have a PLETHORA of awesome songs. Nowadays they support/promote prosperous pop bands and neglect the good bands, that were usually local i believe, they used to support. Here's a couple of my favorites I found on the edge back way when, tell me if you remember either of these haha:

anyway though, I don't listen to country so since the edge got gay the eagle is all i have now lol

 

I don't like Death Metal, Metal, Alternative or music that hurts my ears, or I can't really understand the lyrics to.

 

I literally dislike dubstep, skrillex anything like that it's just insanely horrible to me.

Rap: Some is alright but i can't stand that crap that all they sing about is banging some random girl, smoking dope, or shooting some random person cause they looked at you weird. Oh wait that's all rap is.

Hip hop: I do enjoy this once in awhile when I'm in the mood for it.

Metal: Same with this but only when I'm in the mood for some HELLYEAH, ACDC, Metallica, Guns N Roses, stuff like that.

Rock: I use to listen to this alot but the last few years it seems to be turning into nothing but punk rock...

Country: I grew up listening to country so i tend to listen to it everyday of my life

 

I think there are good songs in every genre. I can appreciate any kind of music that actually takes talent to make even if I don't like it. My least favorite would probably be country because a lot of it just sounds the same to me, but it still doesn't annoy me as much as some of the shitty hip-hop and pop nowadays.

as dimethyl will tell you, Rap = lyrics, hip hop = the music (basically, they're the same thing). Also, not all hip hop is about that shit
