First time ever doing anything with gfx, and I'm not sure how to make it less blurry/better. Any suggestions?
Are the snowflake renders a high or a low quality? When resizing with the transform tool, remember to hold down shift to maintain quality. Did you save it in .png? The font is a bit crap, so maybe try and change that. Also, it's often nice to add some definition by a 1px stroke, or something, to add definition to text.
Check to make sure your font is set to Smooth, Sharp, or Crisp instead of "None". Sharp always works best for me. When you save it, save it as PNG, then you don't have to deal with the choppiness you get from low-quality JPG images. That option can be found up here: For reference, the font he used was this: http://www.dafont.com/kingthings-christmas.font
Sorry for the late reply, I've been gone for the last few days. I used heliospaint to make this. And if it makes a difference I'm using a mac. And I also won't be able to buy any programs.
JPG is the cause for the "shitty" sort of look that people are talking about, so converting it to another higher-quality format is probably a good idea. As for the font? I, myself, am not a huge fan however I find the snowflakes to be a nice addition to it.
You don't always have to buy programs you know. *wink* Heliospaint should be fine (not heard of it though) but making a decent quality image is relatively easy business, you don't need the grunt of photoshop for text.
